    ECUMENICAL LENTEN SERVICE: St. William will host its second ecumenical service at 12 Noon this Wednesday, March 15th. Our guest speaker is Rev. David Fuller, a retired United Methodist Minister. LENTEN SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION will take place after Mass and Stations of the Cross each Wednes-day during Lent at IHM, and each Friday after Mass and Stations of the Cross at St. William. …………………………………………………………………. DSA: Please be generous to the Diocesan Suppor t Appeal. Your contribution to the DSA is a way to act with love for our sisters and brothers throughout the diocese and to continue the saving work begun by Jesus.     LAUDATO SI: in preparation for a seminar on May 7th by the Diocese of Charlotte on Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment, Vern Dixon from IHM will be putting a brief quote from Laudato Si in the bulletin each week. Laudato Si, mi’ Signore means “Praise be to you, my Lord” referring to the great gift the earth is to us. Our first quote is: “This sister, Mother Earth, now cries out to us because of the harm we have inflicted on her by our irresponsible use and abuse of the goods with which God has endowed her.” The Seminar will take place Sunday, May 7th in the Sr. Terry Martin Fellowship Hall from 10:30AM until noon, with brunch included. The program begins at 11AM to 11:45AM in the upstairs kitchen during the Fridays of Lent be-fore Noon Mass. This week's focus is “I call you friends”. We will explore wholeness by reflecting on this image, in reading Scripture, in hearing hymns and singing refrains of praise. SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENTE de PAUL (SVdP) Recap – February 2017 - SVdP handled 34 cases, directly impacting the lives of 70 people. BECAUSE of YOU, 26 families were able to pay their utili-ty bills. BECAUSE OF YOU, 3 individuals were provided necessary medications BECAUSE of YOU, 4 homeless people were provided lodg-ing and meals. BECAUSE of YOU, 1 woman was provided A new tire so she could get to work. Thank you again for so generously sharing your love of Carole Hubbell through your donations to those who are less for -tunate – you strongly demonstrate the impact of Carole’s deep faith on all.
