ParticipantsEmployees of St. Vincent’s will be welcome at all sessions without pre-registration. They will sign-in to get credit for the session. Once an employee has completed all six sessions, he or she will receive a DVD of the physical exercises from the course and a CD of the meditation practices from the course as a gift from St. Vincent’s and to encourage their continued practice.
Staff members who wish to become facilitators will be invited to a special summer training session once they have completed the program.
FacilitatorsEach facilitator should begin familiarizing
themselves with their portion of the program.
They should also begin looking for resource materials such as books, CD’s and DVD’s to enhance their own knowledge and/or use as teaching materials in the class. Materials that are not used in the class per se will be put in the St. Vincent’s Library in a new section being developed for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
Funding for materials will be available through Pastoral Care, Mission and the Library. All requests should go to the Director of Pastoral Care who will ensure compatibility with our other resources and equipment.
