Isn’t it interesting to think about those God chooses to be His stewards? Mary and Joseph were ordinary people who didn’t stand out in the crowd. An innkeeper without a room who gave what shelter he could. Illiterate, lowly shepherds who heard, responded to, and repeated the Good News. Wise Men who traveled miles and miles to bring their gifts and honor the new King. You and I, also ordinary people, who have been given various gifts to use to spread the Good News and honor the newborn King.

Thank you for all your cards, prayers and concern for me during my hospitalization and rehab. I am also very grateful to those of you that took the time out of your busy schedules to come visit me. Your care and concern has meant so much to me! Thank you again.

~Arlene Schell~

Thank you to everyone that so generously donated cookies, slippers & socks for the Youth Servant Event at Heather Pines Adult Care. The residents were very grateful for your donations.

~Board of Youth & Family Fellowship~ Thank you to everyone for your donations for the Mitten Tree. Clarkston Rotary distributed all our donations to children in the Clarkston community. The children were delighted with all of the scarves, hats, mittens & gloves, but especially liked the hand-made scarves. Those were the first items selected by the children! So thank you to all the knitters for those special donations.

~The Human Care Board & Clarkston Rotary~ Thank you to my church family for all your cards and prayers. I deeply appreciate all your concern for me. Thank you so much.

ST. TRINITY STAFF APPRECIATION St. Trinity Members: It has been a tradition here at St. Trinity to show our appreciation for our staff (Pastor Duchene; Secretary, Gretchen; Organist, Mona; Choir Director, Pam; and Preschool Director, Julie) at this time of year. In keeping with that tradition, available in the Narthex and in the December 10 & 11 Worship Bulletins will be a “Staff Appreciation” offering envelope for your use. St. Trinity is blessed with such a wonderful staff and for that we are thankful to God. God’s blessings to you and your families this Christmas and in the New Year. ~Church Council

J.O.Y. Group (Just Older Youth) The J.O.Y. group meets again on Thursday, January 19 at noon for a potluck & fellowship. Our guest speaker for the day will be Tina Klemm who will speak about her missionary trip to Honduras. Bring a dish to pass & a place setting for fun, food & fellowship.
