Dear parents/guardians,
ROBINWOOD TRIP – Monday 22nd March- 24th March 2021
We are pleased to inform you that we managed to re-organise our planned residential trip to Dobroyd Castle, Robinwood Centre
for children in Year 6. We have been assured that Robinwood have everything in place to make this a safe and memorable
experience for children.
Dobroyd Castle is located on the outskirts of Todmorden. More information can be found on www.robinwood.co.uk. Click on
Dobroyd Castle. The covered sports hall provides some fantastic indoor activities including climbing walls, crate challenge, trapeze
and archery and in a separate building there is an artificial caving area. There are three different themed problems solving areas;
Quest, the Dungeon and Piranha Pool. In the wooded areas of the grounds there are zip wires, giant swings, an obstacle course
and a night line. The children typically do 15 activities during the 3 days. The availability of these activities may be reduced due
to Covid-19 restrictions that could be place.
Due to the change in date we have secured a reduced price of £191.33(based on £183.00 for the trip and £8.33 (for transport)
per child. However this cost may change slightly if there is a reduction in numbers. We need to give a definite number to
Robinwood as soon as possible. Since we have refunded payments received can you please pay a non-refundable deposit of £50
by 11th September.
