Preschool Camps

We are excited to offer two weeks of old-fashioned summer camp

filled with tons of fun and great memories. Children will experience

outdoor explorations where they are given the opportunity to play,

explore and dig deeper. Each week we will offer art, crafts, science,

and games. 

It’s a Bug’s Life (June 5 - 8)

During this week students will explore bugs, go on nature walks and

scavenger hunts. Art, science, dramatic play, and storytelling will be

integrated into our exploration of bugs. 

Splish Splash (June 19 - 22)

Children will engage in water play, mixing colors with water, baby

doll washing stations, sink and float, water sprinklers, and more. 

Days: Monday - Thursday

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $120.00

Open to children ages 2 - 6 (they do not have to be potty trained)

Parents provide snack and lunch

Music Camps

Music of the Animal Kingdom (July 31 - August 4)

—featuring The Carnival of the Animals, by Camille Saint-Saëns—

The camp will introduce children to delightful classical music.

Explore rhythm and beat while marching like a mighty lion.

Imagine how the animals move, and feel the tempo of music while

crawling like a tortoise or running like a horse. Identify high and

low, loud and soft sounds through the wild animal kingdom.

Explore a wide variety of sounds produced by various instruments

of the orchestra. Children will experience music through dance,

drama, and crafts!

Days: Monday - Friday

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $150.00

Open to children ages 3 - 5 (they must be potty trained)

Parents provide snack and lunch

Come and Join the Chorus! (July 31 - August 4)

—sponsored by St. Stephen’s Choir School (www.sscsdurham.org)—

This camp is a week-long experience of the joys of singing

together in a choir. Each day the students will practice choral

singing and play music-based games. The Friday session will end

with a mini-concert of selections rehearsed throughout the week.

It’s a time to make friends who work together to make music!

Days: Monday - Friday

Time: 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Cost: $175.00

Open to students in rising K - 5th grades
