Faith - Knowledge - Service

The students of Mrs. Shumaker have been working on biographical re-

search. Famous Americans is the topic for 2nd graders and the 3rd

graders study scientific research. The culmination of their research is a

Wax Museum type presentation. Students

prepare a poster board including information,

photos & a timeline about their subject. They

also dress up as the person and give a short

speech about their subject.

The 4th grade students of Ms. Harvey also

participate, but their research is done on fa-

mous Ohioans. Their curriculum includes

Ohio history.

The students presented on both Thursday

and Friday.

Thursday is

dress rehearsal day and all the St.

Rose students attended and learned

about many interesting people. Friday

the parking lot was full of cars as par-

ents, grandparents came to listen to

the presentation.

Thanks to our great teachers who pre-

pared and assisted our students in

their great presentations.
