WORLD MARRIAGE DAY ~ “Let’s Strengthen Marriage”
This years theme for National Marriage Week calls us all
to action to support and strengthen all Marriages.
Prayer for our marriage
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the tremendous gift of the
Sacrament of marriage. Enable us to grow in our intimacy with You and with
each other. Teach us the beauty of forgiveness so we may become more and
more one in heart mind and body. Strengthen our communications with each
other and help us become living signs of Your Love. Help us to be examples
of commitment, love and service to our families and children. Make us a sign
of the unity which Jesus prays for at the Last Supper. We open ourselves to
the guidance of your Holy Spirit, who empowers us to Love in Jesus’ name
and walk in His footsteps. Amen.

SCHOOL REGISTRATION
SCHOOL NEWS ADULT RELIGIOUS
FORMATION Words from Pope Francis: “I cannot imagine a Christian who does not know how to smile. May we joyfully witness to our faith.”
He Leadeth Me (book)
This is an inspiring book that will open
up new horizons in your spiritual life.
Fr. Ciszek was arrested during World
War II and spent the next 23 years in
Soviet prisons and Siberian labor
camps. Struggling to survive in barely
livable conditions, he came to trust
deeply in God and his divine provi-
dence. He never ceased ministering as
a priest to fellow prisoners: saying
Mass underground, hearing confes-
sions from hundreds who could have
betrayed him, and encouraging count-
less others. His cause for canonization
was recently opened. His autobiog-
raphy, He Leadeth Me, is available at
the Lighthouse kiosk across from the
parish office. A CD entitled “With God
in Russia” is also available in the ki-
osk. Reading Fr. Ciszek’s autobiog-
raphy is like going on a retreat. You
won’t be disappointed!
Blessing for expectant mothers and
their families is NEXT WEEKEND,
February 15th and 16
th, after all Sun-
day Masses. Please feel free to
come forward after Mass to receive
the blessing.

ST. ROBERT’S PRAYER GARDEN
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!
We appreciate all the donations made to
the Prayer Garden endowment fund in
2013. The interest from the funds in the
endowment provides the money each
year to purchase the flowers and also to
maintain the hardscape of the garden.
Being an outdoor venue, the elements
take a toll each year. This spring we will
be using some of the available funds to
repair the concrete paths. We will also
power wash the benches to remove the
black stains. We strive each year to plant
new and interesting flowers, especially
ones that you might not be familiar with
nor plant in your own home garden. Each
year we come up with a new color
scheme/theme….we hope you will visit
the garden often in 2014 to see what we
have planned!
