    IS THE NEW

    HEART OF THE HOSPITALYour friendly, convenient gatewayto our many services and programs

    Stop for a cup of coffee at the Jazzmans

    Caf. Ask a question or get directions from a

    friendly face at our Concierge Desk. Pause to

    reflect in a comfortable chair beneath a scenic

    116-foot-long skylight or inside the chapelwith its historic stained glass. Or simply take

    the fastest path to your destination.

    The creation of Main Street fulfills one of the

    major goals of the hospitals renewal project

    to provide easier and more direct access

    to virtually all of the hospitals locations,

    programs, and services.

    A WARM WELCOMETO ST. PETERS

    As patients and families move nor thward

    on Main Street, which is flooded with

    natural light from a 116-foot-long skylight,they will find areas of private seating

    complemented by displays of living plants,

    colorful banners, and tasteful artwork

    available for those visitors who prefer a

    quieter environment.

    On the way to Main Street, from the first

    steps you take into our hospital, youll be

    greeted by an expansive Main Entrance

    located on the ground level. The entrance

    includes a large exterior por tico providing

    protection from the elements and quick

    access to valet parking services.

    The exterior of the entrance includescontinuous sidewalks and landscaping

    as well as a meditation garden and a

    geometrically terraced green space on

    the hospital campus. Patients and visitors

    may also enter the hospital from the Main

    Parking Garage using the covered pedestrian

    walkway a gift of Trustco Bank and the

    McCormick family. The area opens to the

    breathtaking two-story Massry FamilyAtrium a gift of the Massry family

    featuring a glass facade that illuminates the

    space with abundant sunshine.

    The Main Entrance features a host of services,

    including the valet parking station, the

    Concierge Desk, and a caf with ample

    seating. The hospitals Chapel of Our Lady of

    Perpetual Help is also located here.

    One level up on the first floor is St. Peters

    Main Street, a gift of the Dake family and

    Stewarts Shops. This area provides access to

    the main elevators for the patient pavilion

    and the hospital of fering patients and

    St. Peters Hospital started with the idea of Main Street the place wherea community comes together and organized the construction around it.Its all about improving efficiency for staff and providing patients and visitorswith a warm welcome to the hospital.

    Visitors have easy access to many services on Main Street,

    including Pre-Admission Testing and Admissions Services;

    registration for Cardiology and Cardiac and Vascular Services;

    a food court featuring freshly made subs, pizza, and salads,

    with seating to accommodate 70people; a spacious, moderngift shop; and convenient entrances to St. Peters Breast

    Center and St. Peters Cancer Care Center.

    A CAPSTONE MOMENT.

    There are moments like this that only happenonce in a lifetime.

    With the help of a $1 million challenge grant from The William Randolph

    Hearst Foundations, The Cornerstone Campaign exceeded its intended

    goal of $35 million in December 2013. Our many thanks to all of our

    benefactors who made this campaign a resounding success. The outpouring

    of support was an unprecedented display of philanthropy that will forever

    be remembered and appreciated.
