A Reading from the Book of Proverbs (PRV 8:22-31)

Thus says the wisdom of God: "The LORD possessed me, the beginning of his ways, theforerunner of his prodigies of long ago; from of old I was poured forth, at the first, beforethe earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains orsprings of water; before the mountains were settled into place, before the hills, I wasbrought forth; while as yet the earth and fields were not made, nor the first clods of theworld. "When the Lord established the heavens I was there, when he marked out the vaultover the face of the deep; when he made firm the skies above, when he fixed fast thefoundations of the earth; when he set for the sea its limit, so that the waters should nottransgress his command; then was I beside him as his craftsman, and I was his delight dayby day, playing before him all the while, playing on the surface of his earth; and I founddelight in the human race."

A Reading from the Letter of St. Paul to the Romans (ROM 5:1-5)

Brothers and sisters: Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace withGod through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith to thisgrace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but weeven boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance,proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the loveof God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.

Lector: The Word of the Lord. People: Thanks be to God.

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John (JN 16:12-15)

Jesus said to his disciples:"I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.But when he comes, the Spirit of truth,he will guide you to all truth.He will not speak on his own,but he will speak what he hears,and will declare to you the things that are coming.He will glorify me,because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.Everything that the Father has is mine;for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mineand declare it to you."

Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty,

Maker of heaven and earth,

of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,

the Only Begotten Son of God,

born of the Father before all ages.

God from God, Light from Light,

true God from true God,

begotten, not made,

consubstantial with the Father;

through Him all things were made.

For us men and for our salvation He came down

from heaven,At the words that follow, up to and including and became Man, all bow

and by the Holy Spirit was Incarnate of the

Virgin Mary and became Man.

For our sake He was crucified under Pontius

Pilate,

He suffered death and was buried,

and rose again on the

third day

in accordance with the Scriptures.

He ascended into heaven

and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living

and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of

Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,

Who with the Father and the Son is adored and

glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.

I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins

and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead

and the life of the world to come.

Amen.

At the Lamb’s High Feast

At the Lamb's high feast we singPraise to our victorious King,He has washed us in the tideFlowing from his open side;Praise we him, whose love divineGives his sacred blood for wine.Gives his body for the feast,Christ the victim, Christ the priest.

Where the paschal blood is poured,Death's dark angel sheathes his sword;Israel's hosts triumphant goThrough the wave that drowns the foe.Praise we Christ, whose blood was shed,Paschal victim, paschal bread!With sincerity and loveEat we manna from above.

Easter triumph, Easter joy,Sin alone can this destroy;From sin’s power, do thou set freeSouls newborn, O Lord, in thee.Hymns of glory, songs of praise,Father, unto thee we raise:Risen Lord all praise to theeWith the Spirit, ever be.

Offertory

All Hail Adored Trinity

All hail, adored Trinity!

All hail, eternal Unity!

O God the Father, God the Son,

And God the Spirit, ever One.

Three Persons praise we evermore,

One only God our hearts adore;

In thy sure mercy, ever kind,

May we your strong protection find.

O Trinity! O Unity!

Be present as we worship thee;

And with the songs that angels sing

Unite the hymns of praise we bring.

In Remembrance of Me

In remembrance of Me, eat this bread.In remembrance of Me, drink this wine.In remembrance of Me, pray for the timeWhen God's will is done.

In remembrance of Me, heal the sick.In remembrance of Me, feed the poor.In remembrance of Me, open the doorAnd let your brother in.

Take, eat, and be comforted;Drink and remember too,That this is My body and precious bloodshed for you, shed for you.

In remembrance of Me, always love.In remembrance of Me, don't look above,But in your heart look in your heart for God.Do this in remembrance of Me.

MeditationAll I Ask of You

Communion

Now Thank We All Our God

Now thank we all our God,

With hearts and hand and voices,

Who wondrous things has done,

In whom his world rejoices;

Who, from our mothers’ arms, hath blest us on our way

With countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.

All praise and thanks to God,

The Father now be given,

The Son, and Spirit blest,

Who reigns in highest heaven,

Eternal, Triune God, Whom earth and heaven adore;

For thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore.

O may this gracious God,

Through all our life be near us,

With ever joyful hearts

And blessed peace to cheer us;

Preserve us in his grace, and guide us in distress,

And free us from all sin, till heaven we possess.

Happy Father’s Day!Remember to pray for all Fathers Living and

all Fathers Deceased. St. Joseph is the Patron

Saint of Fathers whom we honor and ask his

intercession on this Father’s Day.

Prayer of Intercession to St. Joseph for Fathers St. Joseph, guardian of Jesus and chaste husband of Mary, you passed your life in loving fulfillment of duty. You supported the holy family of Nazareth with the work of your hands. Kindly protect those who trustingly come to you. You know their aspirations, their hardships, their hopes. They look to you because they know you will understand and protect them. You too knew trial, labor and weariness. But amid the worries of material life your soul was full of deep peace and sang out in true joy through intimacy with God's Son entrusted to you and with Mary, his tender Mother. Assure those you protect that they do not labor alone. Teach them to find Jesus near them and to watch over him faithfully as you have done. Amen
