The Elective PDM course in Years 9 and 10 includes the process of making and interpreting still, interactive and moving Photographic images. Each student will develop a compilation of photographic and digital works which demonstrate the student’s various investigations. It will include the practices of photographers, designers, filmmakers, videographers, digital artists and animators. Their Photographic and Digital Media Portfolio will include samples of photographic work selected from the list below:-
Photographic and Digital Media Journal: Students will keep a journal to record the processes, experimentation and research conducted during the making process. They will investigate the work of other photographers, designers, filmmakers, videographers, digital artists and animators. Their research will help students gain greater skill and understanding that can be applied to their own photographic work.

Still Interactive Moving
Any of the following: photographic media including wet
photography, camera based and non-camera based works
digital media in printed form manipulated images including col-
lage, montage and image trans-fers
enhanced images derived from wet photography
computer-generated images photostatics including photocopies,
transparencies, transfers installation works other still photographic and digital
forms may also be included
Any of the following: computer-generated images games holographic and virtual realities hypertext works web design internet art performance works installation works audio works other interactive photographic and
digital forms may also be in-cluded
Any of the following: video film animation performance works installation works – time based other moving photographic and digital forms may also be included
