HELPERS TO ASSIST AT THE LENTEN ECUMENICAL

PRAYER SERVICE THAT WE WILL HOST

As mentioned in the announcement on the front page St.

Peter the Fisherman Parish will host the ecumenical service

on Wednesday, March 14th, at 7:00pm, in Holy Name

Church. We would need volunteers to be greeters, distrib-

ute the service booklet, and help with any other need that

evening. If you would like to volunteer, please call Fr. Rob-

ert so that we can plan this evening. Let be wonderful host

that evening and welcome our guest from our neighboring

Christian churches.

Volunteers needed

We are in need of parishioners to volunteer for various

functions in the parish. If we had more volunteers, we

could serve both our parishioners and visitors better. So,

please consider volunteering in the capacity that you can be

of most help to the parish.

Here is a list for your consideration: sacristans for Sunday

and Holy Days, lectors, servers, greeters (we have no greet-

ers at present in any of our churches), snow removal (during

the week at Holy Name and weekdays and weekends at Sa-

cred Heart—this has not been done this winter), funeral sac-

ristans, funeral servers, bell ringer at Holy Name for Sun-

day Mass, and website assistance. Training will be given to

parishioners who volunteer for a position.

This would help the parish tremendously. We could serve everyone in a more organized way and would make for a

more vibrant parish.
