Message from Mrs. Robbins:
Welcome Mrs. Corey Alimento
I was very pleased to hear that Fr. John has selected Mrs. Alimento to be the new principal of St. Paul’s. I have known her for five years. She is a leader among the Catholic School Principals, a marvelous principal, and will serve you and your children well. Important Calendar Changes When we do our calendar of events each summer for the coming school year, we always state that it is subject to change as the situation demands. We have had to make the following changes to the calendar of events. Please mark you home calendars accordingly: This Friday, February 28th, we will have a full day of classes to make up for one of our “snow days” rather than having a teacher institute day. Academic awards will follow Mass on March 12th rather than Ash Wednesday’s 9:00 Mass on March 5th. Confirmation practice with sponsors or proxy will be at 7:00 pm on April 1st. Confirmation is at 7:00 pm on April 2nd. The 6‐7‐8th grade Battle of the Books (BoB) is changed by its host school, St. Mary Immaculate – Plainfield, from April 14th to one week earlier on April 7th. . Finally, First Communion will still be held on Saturday, May 3rd, but the time for Mass has been moved up from noon to 10:00 a.m. The school hall (cafeteria) will open at 8:30 for photos; the church will be opened at 9:00 a.m., one hour before Mass. The amended calendar of events is attached to this newsletter. ‐Mrs. Robbins
