St Patrick’s Primary School Together in Faith & Learning
Greetings to you all
Ethnic Food Festival How amazing was the Ethnic Food Festival ? for all that you did to make it such a
glorious success.
Production
As you will be aware, next Thursday, 30 November, is the Production. The classes have been
working hard on their performances and their costumes in preparation. Tickets can be
purchased from the school office and will be sent home with the children on Thursday, strictly
no door sales for health and safety reasons. Come along for a great night of entertainment.
Parking in the Playground Of late we have had some very close calls, with children walking in the parking area unsupervised by their parents or caregivers.
I would like to remind you that children are not permitted to walk in the parking area unless they are supervised. You need to park
your car, pick them up and walk them back to the car safely.
Also remember that the church driveway is not a safe entrance or exit for your children, they need to walk to the stairs outside room 1.
NO WALKING DOWN HERE YES WALK DOWN HERE
Show that you are a letter from Christ… written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
11 Corinthians 3:3
Term 4 Week 6 2017
This is the first year our juniors have played netball in the Motu Kairangi competition. The year 1 & 2 children play in the morning and the year 3 & 4 children play in the afternoon. They have a half an hour skill session and a 20 minute game each week, practicing the skills they have been learning. All the children play their best each week, have lots of fun and represent our school to a very high standard.

Thank you so much!
Wow, wow, wow!
Once again, I am absolutely blown away by the generosity and love. Thank you all
so much for what you did to make the ethnic fair such a huge success.
Every year you just do better and better.
A BIG THANK YOU to our coordinators who attended meetings, spoke to
people and worked tirelessly to encourage everyone to get involved.
Thank you to all who contributed, supporting the tombola and
grocery hampers, bidding on the auctions, donating food, cooking, helping
on stalls, cleaning, attending the fair and encouraging friends and family to
attend or by handing out flyers!
A special thanks to Sophie Gray who was so generous in more ways than I
can remember; from attending the coordinator meetings, making and
putting up signs, sourcing donations of ingredients, organising and
purchasing all the containers and cutlery, sorting the tombola, bringing in
equipment for the fair, donating a prize for the raffle. Thank you, thank
you, thank you.
The night was a huge success and apart from the impressive profit it was
so heart-warming to see everyone working together, enjoying themselves
and feeling they are a valued part of our school.
We raised over $8,400.00 which will mostly go towards the final cost of the Whisper
Glide and new matting for the playground as well as covering the cost of the
St Patrick mural and hopefully there will even be some left to buy some more IT gear.

Athletics Day
Tuesday 21 November at Newtown Park, St Patrick’s sent some of our student
represent the school: Solo, Josiah Erin, Enesi & Muse.
Enesi & Muse have qualified to represent Wellington in Masterton at the next event.
They all enjoyed the day.
They also showed pride in our school with great behaviour!
Well Done St Pat’s!
