Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.

Oktoberfest at Holy Cross in Paris Saturday, October 3, 2015 (rain or shine) at Henry County Fairgrounds, 517 Royal Oak Drive .

The Mission of Holy Cross: Oktoberfest is a parish and communitywide festival to provide fellowship, participation, and enjoyment for all. The secondary purpose is to generate funds for our charitable organizations within our community and our Holy Cross Catholic parish.

Your generosity helps to connect ministries, parishes

and schools with each other and the broader community.

In the diocese’s print publication, Faith West Tennessee, you will read about local Catholics who put their faith in action. For only $18 a year ($1.50 per month) the magazine will help you to explore your faith and to evangelize. Donations over $18 help to cover working costs of the Memphis Diocese’s website (www.cdom.org), weekly online news in the West Tennessee Catholic, the diocesan calendar and Facebook – always with free access for you. In the next few weeks you will receive your magazine

with a renewal subscription envelope. For new subscribers, we will distribute envelopes in an upcoming bulletin. You may also go to www.cdom.org to subscribe.
