The goal of our Faith Formation

Program is to assist the youth of our

parish to learn, live, and share their

Catholic Faith as disciples of Jesus.

To achieve our goal we need the

support of all members of our parish

family. We have always been blessed

with the prayers and resources that the parishioners so

generously share with us.

We need the young people to actively participate in their

scheduled classes and attend Mass weekly. We need their

parents to encourage that participation and model that Mass

attendance.

This year’s program would be enriched by a few more adult

parishioners to join us on the catechetical team. The classes

meet on Sunday mornings from 9-10:15 am. The more adults

we have, the smaller the groups can be! Please know that we

are aware that people sometimes shy away because they do

not feel they can commit to every Sunday. The classes usually

meet three times a month from September to April. We can

always find a substitute for your “weekend away” or for “a

ski trip up North.” The prerequisite is your willingness to

share your faith with our youth. An advanced degree in

education is not needed!

Mrs. Bethany Bessette, Faith Formation, Gr. 1-6,

[email protected]

Mr. Charles Moreira, Faith Formation, Gr. 7-10, [email protected]

We are currently looking for teachers to join us for our

2019-2020 school year.

Please contact Bethany Bessette if you

are interested in sharing your gifts,

talents and faith with our students. We

have a few grades open and if the time

commitment is difficult, there is a team-

teaching option as well.

Grateful for God’s Providence Capital Campaign

All parishes in the Diocese of Providence are joining together for the Grateful for God’s Providence Campaign. As we approach the 150th anniversary of our Diocese, this historic campaign will ensure that we are able to continue our Mission for years to come. More information will follow in the next few weeks so that we here at St. Margaret Church can learn more about the campaign and the needs we will address together.
