Whether you are returning yachtsmen or visiting for the first time, I would like to wish you, on behalf of all the staff at IGY Rodney Bay Marina a very warm welcome. Our Staff is fully committed to make your visit a pleasurable one and will assist in any way they can.

The marina is located North West of the beautiful Caribbean Island of St Lucia. With Martinique just 21 miles away and the Grenadines to the south, the cruising options are plentiful.

Well protected from bad weather conditions, the marina provides secure all year round berthing. The marina is also equipped with a fully serviced boatyard where our technical team is on standby to assist you in every way. Rodney Bay Marina is known for its picturesque waterfront dinning which offers a host of excellent bars and restaurants to choose from. Wi-Fi coverage is provided free of charge throughout your stay with us.

As an official port of entry to St Lucia, Rodney Bay Marina offers an on-site Customs and Immigration office allowing you to clear in and out with ease.

All of this makes Rodney Bay Marina not just another berth, but truly a “home away from home” where “arriving is only the beginning”. If there is anything you require that will make your visit more memorable then please do not hesitate to ask.

One of the Windward Islands, St. Lucia is located in the center of the eastern Caribbean chain of

islands and is approximately 21 miles south of Martinique and 90 miles northwest of Barbados.

Castries (population 50,000) is the island’s capital and is situated in the northwest part of the

Island. Rodney Bay Marina is approximately 10 miles from Castries. The climate on-island is tropi-

cal with temperatures ranging from 70-90° Fahrenheit (21-32 degrees Celsius). The rainy season

is from June to November, with the drier period between December and May. The currency is the

Eastern Caribbean dollar and the two languages spoken on the island are English and Creole.

ST. LUCIA CARNIVALEach year, the St. Lucia Carnival celebrates many cultural art forms such as theatre, music, dance, song and costumes. Local artists are given a platform on which to express their work for the coming year, while attendants are given an opportunity to hear, see, taste and touch the art of what is to come. Visitors from the neighbor-ing islands of Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad, Guadeloupe and St. Vincent & the Grenadines come to attend one of the greatest local feats in the last decade.

ATLANTIC RALLY FOR CRUISERSThe ARC takes place from late November through the end of December and is an annual transatlantic sailing rally for racer and cruiser yachts since 1986.
