Thank You from Families Helping Families I have often wondered if God answers prayers. Each Christmas I am reminded of
such great need and the hurting of so many, but I am also uplifted, knowing that
each of us are called to be a blessing, reminded that it is us, God calls to be his
hands and his heart. Each Christmas, Families Helping Families brings the needs
of the hurting together with the gifts of the blessed. This Christmas because of you,
104 families had Christmas gifts under their tree and 291 children had a gift
wrapped in love and hope. Families come to pick-up day each year with such
gratitude, one man running across the parking lot, his arms outstretched, with a
hug and tears in his eyes. His embrace and tears, remind me just how much these
gifts mean to each family. Whether it be a baby doll to hold, a car to race, a warm
pair of winter boots or a case of diapers, each family, because of your generosity,
receives just what they most need. With your help, in addition to gifts for their
children, Families Helping Families was able to gift each family with the blessing of
a Christmas dinner. You dear friends, have answered the call, heard the cry of your
brother and are the heart and hands of our Father in Heaven. Together we can do
so much and for this we thank you. With Gratitude, Families Helping Families
Thank You! Thanks to your generous donations, $1,205.42 was collected for Roses for Life!
The Batesville Pregnancy Hotline, and Right to Life of Southeastern Indiana would
like to thank all who braved the weather and donated. A special “thank you” to the
volunteers and mission team members for their assistance with this collection.

Sacrament Day On Saturday, January 19, 2019, the 2nd Grade First Communicants and the 8th
Grade Confirmation students from St. Louis parish buddied up to learn more about
each other, but more importantly more about Jesus. The buddy pairs had a
treasure hunt in Church, learned about the items used during Mass, and found
that it REALLY is Jesus in the Eucharist! Please keep them in your prayers as they
continue to prepare to receive these sacraments.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who donated their time, treasure and talent to
make the day a success!
Please Pray for Our Confirmation & First Communion Candidates Our eighth graders will be Confirmed on February 23rd and our second graders
