Third Sunday of Easter Sunday, April 10th, 2016
3rd Sunday of Easter "Jesus said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me?'" Three times, Simon Peter had denied Jesus. Now, three times, the risen Christ gives Peter the opportunity to announce his love. Although Peter was "distressed" by the Lord's repeated question, ultimately this must have been a healing moment in Peter's life. He finally had the opportunity to assure Jesus that he loved him, thereby making up for his earlier failure and weakness on the night of the Crucifixion.
Jesus' death on the cross sufficed to forgive us of our sins. But his resurrection assures us that there is new life on the other side of our sinfulness. Just as Jesus had the power to conquer death, so too through his grace we have the power to conquer our sins. We can live a resurrected life, we can have a new beginning, just as Peter did that day at the Sea of Tiberias when he pledged his faith anew.
This pledge of faith, it's interesting to note, also came with a kind of commission. Each time that Peter told the Lord he loved him, Jesus responded with a command: "Feed my lambs," "Tend my sheep," and "Feed my sheep." Of course, we know that Jesus had already established Peter as the "rock" on which he built his church, as the first pope. Now, Jesus was emphasizing the connection between loving him--the Good Shepherd--and loving his people, his flock, his church. Peter's love for Christ was meant to be manifested in his love and care for the church, as is the case with every pope. But it's also true for every Christian. We are called not just to relish the gift of forgiveness and the grace of new life in Christ, but to take the next step of loving and serving those around us.

-A talented team of volunteers ensured our church is decorated beautifully to reflect the changes in liturgical seasons.

Booster Club News The winner for the week of March 27th was Charlotte Thibault. She received $35.00 and the church received $53.00. Last week’s winner was Jeannette Charron. She received $37.00 and the church received $55.00. Thank you to those who participate each week. This is a great fundraiser for our parish. There are envelopes at each entrance of the church. Pick up an envelope or two and take a chance. The winner receives 40% of the amount collected and the parish receives 60%.

Bullying, Technology, and Youth Depression
On April 19th at 6:30pm, the Nashua Police Athletic League is hosting nationally renowned speaker John Halligan at St. Patrick’s Gym on Main Street for a parents-only lecture and presentation entitled “Bullying, Technology and Youth Depression”. John experienced the consequences of cyber bullying first hand, when his son Ryan committed suicide in 2003 after being bullied on-line. Since his son’s death John has dedicated his life to educating parents and youths about this growing epidemic. This presentation is FREE of charge, and open to all.
In addition, the Nashua Police Department will have several detectives from the cyber-crimes unit on hand to answer any private or police related questions that may develop from concerned parents.

Speaker: Catholic Charities This weekend we will have a speaker from Catholic Charities joining us at all masses for the annual Catholic Charities Appeal. Deacon Ramon Andrade will discuss all of they ways in which this organization reaches out to those in need. Each year, we are very fortunate to have parishioners generously donate to this worthy cause. Your contributions help so many individuals and families right here in New Hampshire. Throughout the year we will report the progress we make towards our goal in the weekly bulletins. Please be sure to welcome Deacon Ramon this weekend during his visit.

Grupo de Oración Carismático El grupo de oración carismático de la parroquia se reúne todos los viernes de 6pm a 7:30pm. Comenzamos con el rezo del Santo Rosario y Adoración Eucarística. El 15 de abril tendremos como invitada especial a Flor María Vega. Además, Flor María nos acompañará el 16 de abril después de la Santa Misa en el sótano de la Iglesia para compartir con nosotros un momento de alabanza y meditación. ¡No faltes! Durante todo un año de formación, cada persona fomento una relación profunda con Jesús y la Iglesia que Él fundó. Nos da mucho gusto poder ver a nuestros nuevos miembros crecer y madurar dentro de la vida Cristiana. ¡Felicidades!

-Ministros Eucarísticos, ujieres, lectores, monaguillos, y líderes de la colecta. Todas éstas personas estuvieron presente para servir durante cada celebración que se realizo durante Semana Santa.
- Un grupo de voluntarios talentosos trabajaron día y noche para decorar nuestra Iglesia de una manera que fuera en armonía con cada temporada litúrgica.
-Un grupo numeroso de voluntarios actuaron, cantaron, y coordinaron la representación del Vía Crucis.

3er Domingo de Pascua En este Tercer Domingo de Pascua el Evangelio nos presenta un cuadro de tres cosas importantes para reflexionar. La primera es una pesca milagrosa, segunda encontramos a Jesús preparando una comida para los discípulos y por último somos partícipes del diálogo entre Jesús y Pedro. La iniciativa de Jesús resucitado está basada en su amor por nosotros. La misión, la Eucaristía y el ministerio pastoral es reconocida por sus discípulos y dan su respuesta de inmediato. Reconocen al Señor por la fe y lanzan las redes de la obediencia a la derecha a lo opuesto de hacerlo siempre. "Echen la red a la derecha de la barca y encontrarán peces" (Jn 21, 6). La enseñanza es clara, no podemos permanecer de pie solamente viendo lo que pasa a nuestro alrededor. Hay que trabajar, insistir hay que intentar una y otra vez. Cuando Dios actúa en nuestra vida nos unirnos a su petición y acción. Además nos prepara la comida y nos invita. "Vengan a almorzar" (Jn 21, 12). Fijémonos que es él quien toma la iniciativa. Es él que nos da su cuerpo y su sangre en la Eucaristía. Su presencia lo cambia todo. Él es la luz, el amor, la vida nueva. Si lo reconocemos ya no podemos quedarnos quietos. ¡Hay que anunciarlo! Ojalá que en este domingo aprovechemos para vivir esta experiencia, como se vive en el Cursillo de Cristiandad el ágape. Amor vivo presente ante nosotros como lo estuvo con sus discípulos después de resucitar, aquel día de Pascua. Pidamos en esta celebración de la Eucaristía poder gozar de los dones que nos trae Cristo resucitado. Porque ¡amar a Cristo es apacentar a sus ovejas! ¿Lo haremos?

asimismo del pescado. - Jn 21, 12-13
Invitado de Caridades Católicas Este fin de semana nos acompañara un representante de Caridades Católicas en todas las misas para hablar acerca de el Llamado Anual de Caridades Católicas. El Diacono Ramon Andrade hablara sobre las maneras en las que esta organización ayuda a nuestra comunidad. Cada año, somos muy afortunados en tener feligreses que apoyan a ésta noble causa. Existe una gran necesidad y sus donaciones ayudarán a muchos individuos y familias aquí en New Hampshire. Así como hemos hecho otros años, ustedes tendrán la oportunidad de ver en el boletín el progreso de nuestra parroquia hacia nuestra meta en cuanto a la recaudación de fondos para Caridades Católicas. Por favor denle la bienvenida al Diacono Ramon durante su visita.
Alerta por Estafas Telefónicas Los inmigrantes de todo el país están siendo objeto de estafas telefónicas. Los estafadores se hacen pasar por funcionarios del gobierno y llaman a los inmigrantes para notificarles que hay un problema con su registro de inmigración. En ocasiones ellos ya tienen información personal sobre los inmigrantes y la utilizan para parecer legítimos. En la llamada ellos piden información personal y detalles sensibles. Además, exigen un pago inmediato para solucionar el problema. Si la persona se niega a hacer el pago, ellos se enojan y amenazan con la deportación si el pago no se hace inmediatamente con transferencias electrónicas de dinero. A veces, los estafadores utilizan un programa especial de computadoras para hacer que el número de teléfono parezca legítimo (proveniente de un número 800). Otras veces dejan un mensaje para llamar a un número que suena exactamente igual que nuestro número 800. Recuerde, los funcionarios del USCIS rara vez llaman a los clientes por teléfono, y nunca le pedirán un pago por teléfono. Si necesitamos pago, le enviamos una carta en papel oficial solicitando el pago. Si recibe una llamada de este tipo, cuelgue e informe a la Oficina Federal Comercial de www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov.
