Within hours, Mabry was a patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, where she’s undergoing two-and-a-half years of chemotherapy. Thanks to our generous partners, families like Mabry’s never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Mabry is a happy little girl who loves dressing up like a princess, picking flowers and catching lightning bugs with her dad.

Halloween at St. Jude is one of the most festive days of the year. Hundreds of children flood the hallways in bright costumes ready to have fun for a few hours and forget about the difficulties of fighting cancer. Every year, doctors, nurses and staff work together to turn the hospital

into a giant trick-or-treating extravaganza for the patients. This is all done while providing exceptional care to children fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases. On the day of the event, patients and their siblings visit more than 50 Halloween stops.
