Sacrament of Reconciliation: Confessions are heard by appointment only. Those wishing spiritual direction should phone the rectory to schedule an appointment.

Sacrament of Marriage: Our diocese requires a one-year prepa-ration time for this sacrament. Please contact the rectory at least one year in advance of your planned wedding date.

Care of the Sick: Please advise us of parishioners who are sick or in the hospital, that we might keep them in prayer and, if possi-ble, visit them. Anyone who is unable to celebrate Mass with us in Church is urged to advise us so that we can, if possible, bring the Eucharist to them at home.

Sacrament of Baptism: Celebrated the second Sunday of each month. Other times during Mass. Please contact the rectory to set up a meeting. Instruction is required for all parents seeking Baptism for their child.

Tickets are now available to purchase for our Famous Chicken BBQ following the 4:00pm outdoor Mass on Sat. Sept. 14th, after all masses and or the Parish office. Please purchase as soon as possible so that we can account for the food necessary for this event. (Hamburger & Hot Dogs meals will also be available.)

Donations needed We are looking to collect baskets or items for baskets to include, anywhere from small appliances, sports items/ tickets, gift cards, lottery tickets, cash, etc. to be used for our raffle tables and or hand made crafts for our craft table. In past years these tables have been very successful so please help if you can- All donations are welcome and very much appreciated. They can be dropped off at the parish office located in the

NEW MASS TIME SCHEDULE

(With a vote of 108 for the 9:00am and 73 for the 9:30am)

Effective the weekend of September 7, 2019, the new mass schedule will be as follows:

Monday thru Wednesday 8:30am in Mother St. John Chapel

Saturday 4:00pm in St. Pius X Church

Sunday 9:00am in St. Pius X Church

Religious Education registration for 2019-2020 has begun!! With the new Mass schedule, classes for grades k-8 will take place on Sunday mornings from 10:15am until 11:15am and High School classes will begin with Mass on Sunday evenings at 4:30pm in the Mother St. John Chapel and will conclude at 6:15pm. Attached to your email you will find links to the registration form and a current & tentative calendar for all grade levels. For more information and to register your child, please contact Lauren Bjork, Director of Religious Education, at religioused.leicester@gmail.com or by phone at (717) 572-2897.

Classes will begin on Sunday, September 22, 2019. We ask that registration forms be sub-mitted as soon as possible, so that we finalize preparations and materials for classes. Parents wishing to add their children to our Religious Ed-ucation mailing list are asked to contact Lauren for information or you may call the parish office at (508) 859-8083. Classes are available for chil-dren starting in Kindergarten through high school.

We are still of volunteers to be catechists and helpers in the classroom. Please let me know if you are interested in helping out! We partic-ularly need help with middle school & high school classes. As a thank you for your service, we waive the fee for your child to attend religious Ed classes.
