Fr. David's Website and Podcast:
Anchored In The Lord
Fr. David records his weekend homilies and they
are available in audio both
at anchoredinthelord.com or as the podcast "Anchored In The
Lord” in iTunes, Google Play, or wherever you get your pod-
casts. Spiritual sustenance on the go, available 24/7, ready
when you are! Whether you're on the road, out of town, or a
summer visitor, you can always stay connected!
Religious Freedom Week
The USCCB has changed the Fortnight For Freedom program to
Religious Freedom Week. It begins on 6/22/19 with prayers
and meditations for our religious freedoms in the United
States, some of which we have been losing bit by bit. Sug-
gested prayers and actions are printed for the seven days
through 6/29. This literature can be found in the Adoration
Chapel. Please join us as we pray to maintain our freedoms.
Corpus Christi Procession
Corpus et Sanguis Christi
Please join us in procession this Sunday, June 23
rd
, The feast
of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). We
will process after Fr. David’s final blessing after the 10:15
Mass. The feast of Corpus Christi is one time when our Lord in
the Blessed Sacrament is exposed not just to faithful Catholics
but to all the world. This is a time when Catholics can show
their love for Christ in the Real Presence by honoring Him in a
very public way.
Thank You!
God is Great!!! Thank you for all the prayers for our summer
Totus Tuus week. Our students have been blessed with an-

for bringing us the Holy Sacrifice, confessions and so many
laughs. Thank you to all the kitchen help providing great
lunches each day, host families, chaperones and parents for
bringing their children. Please continue to pray for the team as
they move to their next parish. God Bless!

Joe Jalowitz will be 90 years young! Join Joe’s friends and fam-
ily next Saturday, June 29, from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Steak-
house in Hayward. Everyone welcome!

Todd—Gives His Regards to Broadway” Tuesday,

ward beginning at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at Lori’s

Coming Events
Summer Scripture Seminar—Deacon Brian will be leading a 6
-week study of St. Paul’s letters to the Galatians and
Colossians. Each week we will consider the passage from
one of those letters which will be proclaimed as the following
Sunday’s second reading. We will meet every Wednesday
evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Because the response has
been so enthusiastic, we have outgrown the rectory’s dining
room. Instead, we will meet in St. Ann’s parish hall,
downstairs from the church. Bring your bible, an inquiring
mind and a prayerful heart!
Parish Life and Outreach organization is having their first
annual Slightly Used Treasures and Bake Sale on July 13
from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. The sign-up sheet for baked
goods and for help with the sale is in the back of the church.
They will be accepting your donations most Fridays and
Saturdays that lead to the event. A full schedule of times
and days are on our bulletin board. Only items in good
usable condition will be accepted—no electronics, clothing,
large appliances, exercise equipment, furniture or
mattresses please.
The Cable Area Food Shelf served 37 families in May and the
storage room is very bare! Needed are meals in a box or a
can, baking goods and personal care items such as
toothpaste and toothbrushes. Financial donations would
also be appreciated. Checks can be made out to the Cable
Area Food Shelf. As always, thank you for your generosity!
One of our parishioner’s family member is looking for an
apartment in Ashland. If you can help out with any

day and Friday, July 25 and 26. Thursday’s blood drive will be
from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Friday’s blood drive will be from
8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast

In Search of Young Adults!
SPIRITUS is seeking Catholic young adults, 21-29 years of age,
to join the SPIRITUS missionary team this August. SPIRITUS
ignites the faith in thousands of young Catholics through re-
treats and parish youth ministry each year! Missionaries live in
community and travel to parishes and schools throughout Wis-
consin; they receive training, formation, spiritual direction,
lodging, food, a monthly allowance, health insurance and a
$2,000 stipend upon completion of the 9-month program. It is
a unique opportunity to serve our Lord and help young Catho-
lics grow in faith. Visit www.spiritusministries.org, contact Ra-
chel at [email protected], or (920) 722-8918
