All of our teachers are certified by the State of Texas and are Gifted and Talented and English Second Language (ESL) certified as well. We house a Vanguard Neighborhood program for our Gifted and Talented students, a full day Pre-Kindergarten program for four year olds, ESL instruction, and varied self contained special education classes for students with special needs. ALL of the students at St. George take Mandarin as a second language on a weekly basis. We offer daily enrichment courses in Physical Education, Art, Computer Technology and Library.

Who We Are…
1
Our Mission The School at St. George Place empowers learners to become principled, compassionate, reflective citizens who construct meaning through rigorous, inquiry-based learning experiences. With open minds and hearts we embrace and respect diversity of cultures, ways of learning and living in an international community where building knowledge is a life long process.
Our Leadership Our principal, Adam Stephens, is an experienced educator with an extensive background in curriculum and

instruction. His goal for all students is academic excellence and a genuine love of learning. Mr. Stephens recognizes that our school is only as good as each individual classroom teacher and we have the best!
Our Approach We believe in an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning. We believe that true learning occurs when knowledge is developed due to deep conceptual understanding. We encourage our students to ask questions, find answers, and make connections.
WELCOME! In addition to being a TEA Exemplary campus, we are also an International Baccalaureate (IB) candidate school and are working on building our Primary Years Programme (PYP). We would love to have you join us on our journey!
Our students genuinely love walking through our doors each morning, and along with our staff, make our school a happy, creative, challenging and fun place to learn! We are proud of our diverse student population. Our students represent over twenty-seven (27) home languages alone!
