Can you believe we’re in the Fifth Week of Lent already! (I can!) Usually at this time I find myself stumbling through Lent, trying to hang in there but finding the prayer, penance, and almsgiving really wearing me down. This is where we need to BURST! My cross country coach would yell that on the back parts of the course (he always knew when we’d start to slow down). And when he’d yell there were guys from the opposing school showing me up just ahead of me, I’d find some extra motivation to pass them. What’s the extra motivation you need to power through these last two weeks? Don’t make it about the penance, but about Jesus. Make it about finding Him loving you, accompanying you through the struggle. Ready? BURST! —Remember we have our last Fish Fry on Friday, 4:30-7pm. —Following the Fish Fry we have Stations of the Cross. Join us as we follow Jesus to Calvary! Have a Great Week! Fr. Fallon
