Home of the HuskiesSCSU Assistant CoachesAssistant Coach Larry SundbyLarry Sundby begins his 24th seasonwith the Huskies' tennis program in2011.The longtime head coach of theSCSUwomen's program,Sundby nowserves as an assistant coach for themen's andwomen's programs to headcoachJerryAnderson.Sundbysteppeddown as theSCSUwomen's coach in2005. In18seasonsatSCSUastheUni-

versity'swomen'stenniscoach,Sundbycompileda311-129recordand led theHuskies to threeNorthCentralConference titles in1988,1990and1991.HewasvotedtheNorthCentralConferenceCoachoftheYearin1988and1991.SundbyhasalsoledSCSUtoNCAADivisionIItournamentbidsin1995,2003and2004.Sundbyisinhis28thseasonoverallasahighschoolandcol-legiatetenniscoach.Asatenniscoach,his teamshavecompileda 439-171overall record. Hewas recognizedas theMinnesotaHighSchoolGirl'sClassAATennisCoachof theYear in1992. In2006,SundbyreceivedaNorthCentralConferenceHonorAward.Sundby is a professor emeritus of accounting atSt.CloudStateUniversity.

Assistant CoachScott JohnsonScottJohnsonhasbroughtvaluableexpe-rience to theSCSU tennis programoverthepast several seasons. Asavolunteercoach,Johnsonworks in theareasofsin-glesanddoublesstrategy,strokedevelop-ment and practice drilling. Johnson is afacultymemberintheCollegeofBusiness.

Assistant CoachMark MuntiferingMarkMuntifering is the tennis director atGold'sGymTennisCenterinSartell.Heisalsotheheadboys'andgirls'tenniscoachat St. CloudApollo H.S., where he hasbeen recognized as theMinnesotaHighSchool"CoachoftheYear"forbothteams.HehasalsobeenrecognizedbytheNorth-ernSectionoftheUSTAforhiscommunityvolunteerworkinpromotingtennis.
