FIRST FRIDAY HOLY HOUR
On July 2, we will have a Holy Hour in church
immediately following the 8:15 AM Mass. This holy
hour will conclude with Benediction by 9:45 AM. The
Adoration Chapel will be closed during this time.
FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS
PRAYING FOR THE
CONVERSION OF OUR NATION
We invite you to join us this Saturday, July 3, for the
morning Rosary at 7:45 AM before the 8:15 AM Mass
in the Church as we celebrate the First Saturday
devotions in honor of our Blessed Mother. On
December 10, 1925, Our Lady of Fatima asked the
faithful to dedicate the first Saturdays of five
consecutive months in reparation for sin by participating
in the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession),
receiving Holy Communion, praying five decades of the
Rosary and meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary
for at least 15 minutes. We will offer the Rosary in
atonement for sin and for the conversion of the United
States.
Women of Faith invites you to join
them on Thursday, July 8 at 7:00 PM
in the church with guest speaker,
Jason Angelette. The Sacrament of
Penance (Confessions) will be available starting
at 6:30. A visiting priest will be available for
Confession.
Jason Angelette is the Director of the Faith and Marriage
Apostolate of the Willwoods Community, a Catholic non-
profit in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He was
married to Elise Angelette since 2002, until her recent
passing and has five beautiful children! Since 2007 the
faithful duo held the position as the Co-Directors. Elise
was an angel to many, transforming the hearts of many,
and bringing them closer to God and our Mother Mary.
Jason received his Masters in Theological Studies from
the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on
Marriage and Family at the Catholic University of
America. His experience includes teaching theology at the
high school and college levels as well as working and
speaking at various retreats and events nationwide. He is
also the co-host for a weekly television program on
WLAE entitled Issues and Faith.
To only name a few missions, Jason and Brian Butler
offer encouragement for your day to be the light that we
are called to be in the world, He has also developed
Climbing the Sycamore Tree where he and the guys
reflect on the call of men to search out the Lord and
boldly live out our faith.
We are in need of an adorer for:

Prayer for America to Our Blessed Mother
O Most Blessed Virgin Mother of Mercy, at
this most crucial time, we entrust the United States
of America to your loving care. Most Holy Mother,
we beg you to reclaim this land for the glory of
your Son. Overwhelmed with the burden of the sins
of our nation, we cry to you from the depths of our
hearts and seek refuge in your motherly protection.
Look down with mercy upon us and touch the
hearts of our people. Amen.
Prayer to St. Joseph by Pope Leo XIII
To you, O blessed Joseph, we
have recourse in our affliction.
And having implored of your
most holy Spouse, we now, with
hearts filled with confidence,
earnestly beg you to take us also
under your protection. By that
charity with which you were
united to the Immaculate Virgin
Mother of God, and by that
fatherly love with which you
cherished the Child Jesus, we
beseech you and we humbly pray that you will look
down graciously upon that inheritance which Jesus
Christ purchased by His Blood, and will help us in our
need by your power and strength. Defend, O most
watchful guardian of the Holy Family, the chosen
children of Jesus Christ. Keep from us, O most loving
Father, all blight of error and corruption. Aid us from
on high, most valiant defender, in this conflict with the
powers of darkness. As you once rescued the Child
Jesus from mortal danger, so now defend God’s Holy
Church from the snares of the enemy and from all
adversity. Shield us ever under your patronage, that,
following your example and strengthened by your help,
we may live a virtuous life, die a happy death, and
obtain everlasting bliss in Heaven. Amen.
