Peace and Christmas Blessings! Today we celebrate a shift in history, a change in trajectory and a blessing to all! The birth of Jesus Christ did not just affect the Jewish people who longed and waited for a messiah, but, also brought salvation to all who have ever and will ever walk the Earth. In 2016, we continue to search, wait, and prepare to experience the presence of Christ in our lives and in our world. Too often we are just looking too hard for a specific sign or event that we often miss Him bringing his love and peace to us. Instead, we should trust in his providence and allow him to work as He wills, so we can receive his love and peace. As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us take time to give thanks for his presence even if we do not always recognize it. Let us give thanks for the opportunity to choose Christ each day and spend our time this Christmas lifting the spirits of all we encounter and show them the Love and Hope that can only come from Christ! On behalf of the clergy, staff and volunteers of St. Charles Borromeo, we hope that you have a faith and hope filled Christmas! In Christ’s Service, Fr. Arthur
