Prayer of those not receiving Holy Communion My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. September 29, Feast of St Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who wander about the world seeking the ruination of souls. Amen.

TODAY’S LITURGY: 26th Sunday in the Church Year

READINGS: RED HYMNAL # 947

Processional Hymn: Hymn to St. Michael (tune 315) Michael, prince of all the angels, While your legions fill the sky, All victorious over Satan, Lift your flaming sword on high; Shout to all the seas and heavens: Now the morning is begun; Now is rescued from the dragon She whose garment is the sun!

Mighty champion of the Woman, Mighty servant of her Lord, Come with all your myriad warriors, Come and save us with your sword; Enemies of God surround us: Share with us your burning love; Let the incense of our worship Rise before His throne above!

Gabriel, sent to Holy Mary, Raphael, healer, friend and guide, All you hosts of guardian angels Ever standing by our side, Virtues, Thrones and Dominations, Raise on high your joyful hymn, Principalities and Powers, Cherubim and Seraphim!

Gradual (Psalm 146) Praise the Lord My Soul

Offertory Hymn: CREDO # 593 Here I am Lord

Communion Hymn: CREDO # 611 The Cry of the Poor

Recessional Hymn: CREDO # 335 Ye Holy Angels

THE INTERCESSIONS: P: In peace let us pray to the Lord. Our response will be: HEAR US O LORD

That this day may be holy, good and peaceful. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

That Your holy angels may lead us in paths of peace and goodwill. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

That the Church, purchased by the Precious Blood of Jesus may be washed clean as the pure Bride of Christ, without spot or blemish. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

That we may be pardoned and forgiven our sins and offenses. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

That there may be peace to Your Church and to the whole world. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

That we may depart this life in Your faith and fear, and not be condemned before the great judgement seat of Christ. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

That the sick and suffering may know the consolation of Your presence and come to the fullness of health and peace. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

That the faithful departed may come quickly into Your holy presence. In Your great mercy: HEAR US O LORD

BAYSHORE COHORT PARISH MISSION

Our Local Cohort of Parishes; St. Catherine’s, St Ann’s, St Mary, St. Agnes/OLPH will host a joint

Parish Mission Sunday October 6 through 9

The first evening will be held at St. Catherine’s, Social gathering at 6:30 pm in the Hall (with food).

The Presentation will begin at 7:30 pm in the Church. Each of the four evenings will be held in

a different Church. Plan to attend.

THAT MAN IS YOU The program is held every Saturday in the school building. Breakfast starts 6:30am and we will make sure to have you out by 8:00am. Right now, our parish is running a men’s program that is spreading around the world and is truly changing men and their families. This program is the That Man Is You! Program and I want to personally invite all adult men to be a part of it. We had an amazing experience last year and those that complet-ed the program have truly been impacted. I know for me person-ally, I have learned so much about what it is to be a better hus-band and father. We want to invite all of the men of the parish to join us on this new year of TMIY unlike any other. It is dif-ferent than all of their other programs and is made up of 9 dif-ferent speakers. If you have never attended at all, or simply came to a couple of meetings, you can jump into this new con-tent without any issue. In joining us this Fall, you will be one of over 25,000 men going through the TMIY program this year across the country. You will be joining a band of brothers that will support you on your journey. It is a powerful thing when you gather with a group of other men striving to do right by God and their families. I know life is busy, but we just ask that you give the program a try.

PUBLIC SQUARE ROSARY CRUSADE The world is at a historic crossroad. God is more offended than ever as people ignore Our Lady’s maternal request to “stop offending God.” Yes, we must listen to our Lady’s request and stop sinning if we hope to enjoy God’s blessings and to avert His wrath. He will hear us, if we pray through the intercession of His Blessed Mother. That’s why we’re doing the 2019 Public Square Rosary Crusade. What: The Holy Rosary, Where: St. Catherine’s Church When: Saturday, October 12 at 12:00noon Sharp, here at Saint Catherine’s Church. For more information call Lucille @732-787-2003.
