I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

To believe in the Holy Spirit is to profess that the Holy Spirit is one of the persons of the Holy Trinity, con-

substantial with the Father and the Son, with the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. For this

reason, the divine mystery of the Holy Spirit was already treated in the context of Trinitarian theology. Here

however, we have to do with the Holy Spirit only in the divine economy.

The Holy Spirit is at work with the Father and the Son from the beginning to the completion of the plan for

our salvation. But in these end times, ushered in by the Son's redeeming Incarnation, the Spirit is revealed and

given, recognized and welcomed as a person. Now can this divine plan, accomplished in Christ, the firstborn

and head of the new creation, be embodied in mankind by the outpouring of the Spirit, as the Church, the com-

munion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

WIERZĘ W DUCHA ŚWIĘTEGO

Nikt nie może powiedzieć bez pomocy Ducha Świętego "Panem jest Jezus". Bóg wysłał do serc naszych

Ducha Syna swego, który woła Abba, Ojcze. Poznanie wiary jest możliwe tylko w Duchu Świętym. Aby

pozostawać w jedności z Chrystusem, trzeba najpierw zostać poruszonym przez Ducha Świętego. To On

wychodzi naprzeciw nas i wzbudza w nas wiarę. Mocą naszego chrztu, pierwszego sakramentu wiary, życie,

które ma swoje żródło w Ojcu i zostaje nam ofiarowane w Synu, jest nam udzielane wewnętrznie i osobowo

przez Ducha Świętego w Kościele.

Chrzest udziela nam łaski nowego narodzenia w Bogu Ojcu, za pośrednictwem Jego Syna w Duchu Świętym.

Ci bowiem, którzy noszą Ducha Bożego, są prowadzeni do Słowa, to znaczy do Syna. Syn przedstawia ich

jednak Ojcu, a Ojciec udziela im niezniszczalności. Bez Ducha nie można więc widzieć Ojca, a bez Syna nikt

nie może zbliżyć się do Ojca, ponieważ Syn jest poznaniem Ojca, a poznanie Syna Bożego dokonuje się przez

Ducha Świętego.

Creer en el Espiritu Santo es, por tanto, profesar que el Espiritu Santo es una de las personas de la Santisima

Trinidad, consubstancial al Padre y al Hijo, que con el Padre y el Hijo, recibe una misma adoracion y gloria.

Por eso se ha hablando del misterio divino del Espiritu Santo en la teologia trinitaria. Aqui solo se tratara del

Espiritu Santo en la economia divina.

El Espiritu Santo coopera con el Padre y el Hijo desde el comienzo del Designio de nuestra salvacion y hasta

su consumacion. Solo en los ultimos tiempos, inaugurados con la Encarnacion del Hijo, es cuando el Espiritu

se revela y se nos da, y se le reconoce y acoge como Persona. Entonces, este Designio Divino que se consuma

en Cristo, primogenito y Cabeza de la nueva creacion, se realiza el la humanidad por el Espiritu que nos es

dado, la Iglesia, la comunion de los santos, el perdon de los pecados, la resurreccion de la carne, la vida eter-

na.

Moms and Tots

St. Bruno School invites you to join our free playgroup for moms and tots ( age 18 months to 36 months ) on Monday

mornings at 9:00a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph Room. We provide coffee for parents and snacks for the children.

There are plenty of toys, puzzles, and floor mats for the children to play with. Parents/ grandparents are expected to stay

with their children for the two hours. For more information call the school at 773-847-0697.

SCHOOL NEWS

Our Second Graders have been very busy since their return from Christmas vacation. We have

enjoyed learning about the Planets and Space. St. Bruno School’s own science lab has models

of how our Solar System exists. This past Monday, we went with the kindergartners and first

graders to the Adler Planetarium on a field trip to conclude our lesson. We all had a great time

while learning.

sie, potwierdzic masza lekcja. Mielismy dobry czas aczac sie ciekawych rzeczy.

Nuestros estudiantes del segundo grado han estado muy ocupados desde su regreso de sus va-

caciones de Navidad. Hemos disfrutado aprendiendo sobre los planetas y el espa-

cio. El laboratorio de ciencias de la escuela de San Bruno dispone modelos de cómo nuestro

sistema solar existe. El pasado Lunes, nos fuimos con los niños de kindergarten y primer grado

a un paseo al Planetario Adler a la conclusión de nuestra lección. Todos la pasamos muy bien

mientras aprendiamos.

4.00 PM y 5:00 PM a 6:00 PM.

BAPTISM Please call the rectory to make arrangements. All parents and godparents are required to register for and attend a Baptismal Preparation session. English Baptisms are on the first Sunday after the 9.00AM or 12.15PM Mass. Polish Baptisms are on the second Sunday after the 10.30AM Mass. Spanish Baptisms are on the third Sunday after the 2:30 PM Mass. MARRIAGE Call the rectory to make arrangements at least 8 months in advance. Your date will be confirmed at the first meeting with priest or deacon. Pre-Cana conferences are required. SACRAMENT OF THE SICK AND COMMUNION CALLS Please call the rectory to have a priest come for the sacrament of the sick. If you have been hospitalized or are homebound and wish a Minister of Care to bring you Communion, please call the rectory. CONFESSIONS: Thursday 3:00PM - 4:00PM and 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Saturday from 4:00 to 4:45 PM and Weekdays after the 7:00 AM Mass.
