SSK Roof Repair

This past week we completed repairs to the church roof. Over 600 slates were replaced and 100 sliders reposi-tioned and secured due to aging and damaged caused by the unusual hail storms this summer. The expense to-taled $9,500. An insurance claim was mailed to the dio-cese this week. Later this summer we will be replacing the shingles of the lower and upper back roof which houses the sacristy. These repairs will secure the build-ing for what will be another harsh winter.
