We studied the painting and tried to recreate the games in our playground.

We had fun but it took us some time to work out exactly what to do!

In the painting the children were rolling metal hoops.

Nowadays Maryam would rather use a plastic one.

1,2,3 lift!We are not quite so sure if Pavol is

having much fun!

There were lots of children lifting others in the painting.Joseph was able to hold Fizhan on his

back and walk around the yard. He must have had plenty of porridge for his

breakfast!

Luckily for Abdul and John Paul, Arya was able to jump over safely.

many generations.
