QUOTE OF THE WEEK
You say “life isn’t fair”? Good for you it isn’t, you’d be a
lot worse off if it was.
SPONSOR OF THE WEEK

“With such affection for you, we were determined to share with
you not only the gospel of God, but our very selves as well, so
dearly beloved had you become to us.” 1 Thessalonians 2:8
St. Paul’s desire to serve others led him not only to share the
gospel, but to give all that he could of himself. A steward, like
St. Paul, understands we are not meant for ourselves, but to be
shared with others.

PARENTING POINTERS
I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry.
(Philippians 4:12) No one likes to go hungry, but periodic fast-
ing from food can put us in solidarity with those who do not
have a choice. Ask your child to "fast" with
you on a certain day.
