5.6. CNR WARNERS AVE & GLENAYR AVE (Large hole in the park) The Chairman advised he has again taken up with Council.

5.7. CNR WAIROA & CAMPBELL PDE (@ END OF BONDI BEACH PUBLIC SCHOOL) (There needs to be an extra stop sign, as cars roll through the pedestrian crossing & do not stop at the stop sign) Still awaiting on the Traffic Committee to review & get back to us.

RAMSGATE @ END OF BEACH (It was felt that the use of bikes was very dangerous & safety would be improved by the introduction of a speed hump & a speed limit of 10k for shared usage) No developments.

5.9. CNR OF CAMPBELL PDE & RAMSGATE AVE, OPPOSITE NORTH BONDI SLSC CROSSING ACROSS RAMSGATE AVE NORTH TO SOUTH –TO PARK Still pending.

5.10. NO PARKING SIGNS IN CONGESTED STREETS Motion: to move no standing signs in line with fence line. Argued: It was argued that although this created more parking, it made the streets more dangerous. Answer: only to be changed on atrial streets. Resolved; we push same, with Council. The Chairman will resend to everyone the advice received from Bruce Notley- Smith (Member for Coogee).

5.11. ALLEGED UNAUTHORISED BUILDING WORKS AT THE CORNER OF OAKLEY RD & GOULD ST The Chairman still to speak to Mr. Featherstone.

5.12. ENTRANCE TO OUR MEETING ROOM (western end) STREET GUTTER OPPOSITE No developments.

5.13. SPEEDING ON MILITARY ROAD SPEED HUMPS (alongside the Golf course) No developments.

5.14. AMALGAMATION OF COUNCILS Refer to 6.1. Woollahra in court today & the matter is pending. .

5.15. BRIGHTON BLVD Parking – the two hour limit is still not being enforced. No developments & still a problem.

TODDLERS POOL NORTH BONDI DETERIORATION OF WALKWAY Juju will continue to monitor.

5.18. SHARING THE SURF AT BONDI BEACH Council only has authority to the low water liner.

5.19. METRED PARKING & RESIDENTIAL PARKING To extend the hours of Rangers to at least 9pm. Extend hours of parking to mid night. The Chairman has written to Council, however, to date has still not received a response.

5.20. 108 BLAIR STREET & REMOVAL OF GRASS FROM THE VERGE BY A NEIGHBOUR Refer 6.1.

OLD TERRACES (OSH RD & OXFORD ST) Louise id investigating the heritage removal Is also going to look at intersection of Victoria & Bondi Road (eastern side).

5.26. BONDI PAVILION Refer to 6.1. If amalgamation goes ahead, then it cannot go ahead, until the new Council agrees to it.

5.28. SHUK RESTAURANT ISSUES (A) PARKING – still a problem with illegal parking. (B) SEATING – on occasion chairs extend over the footpath & the umbrellas extend even

further. No developments, Sally will again raise.

Request for pharmacy car space. Resolved we recommend to Council.

5.30 REPLACE BUS SHELTER @ MURRIVERIE RS & KNOWLES AVE No developments.

5.31 NORTH BONDI PUMP STATION No developments.

This included advice on 41 O’Donnell St. 114 Blair St [Julius to object], will look into on receipt of DA reference. Will attend the Combined Precinct meeting & on our behalf move the motion with respect to present single/semi conversions. Report was adopted.

7.1 TRUST MILE Although invited, they did not attend.

8.1. O’DONNELL ST PARK Joy advised it is being reopened, with all the work to be completed in the next two weeks.

8.2. BLAIR ST GARDEN BEDS Joy advised planting was to start March/April & now will proceed in August. Council is looking for funding to complete. When done it will involve all Blair St.

8.3. CNR BLAIR & WAIROA Joy advised there has been two accidents outside the Dentists surgery.

8.4. ROPER’S PHARMACY Joy advised of parking problems at the terminus bus depot

8.4. FOOTPATH CONGESTION AT TERMINUS Julius spoke on the congestion caused by outdoor seating. Joy will look into.

11. COMBINED PRECINCT COMMITTEE

(A) Future of Precincts was discussed & a motion passed that Council continue with.

I indicated we did not need Council to continue as a group.

(B) The GM spoke on the future & that no one really knows what will happen, although he gave an educated

guess.

(C) Bondi Pavilion was discussed & this lead to some heated debate.

(D) DA notifications were also discussed.

(E) Council was asked to go back to advertising Precinct meetings in the Wentworth Courier I the original format,

which provided full details.

(F) Draft minutes of meeting provided by Council (21/3 & 22/03)

(G) Next meeting 14th July, I will be chairing it.

The couple of gutter areas still have not been restored on the verge side. Council (16/6) advise they will look into, however, they do not believe it was part of the works.

(A) Save Waverley Action Group – meeting on 5th May from 7pm at Club Bondi Junction RSL (23/04) (B) It is currently in a state of flux & I have not been able to obtain anything concrete as to what is happening.
