Christ is risen, Alleluia! After long 40 plus days of Lenten disciplines are over, we finally arrived the day of rejoicing. Our Savior has risen as he said. From the darkness of death, from the power of evil, from all the things that demolish the signs of existence of love. For those who have stony heart and prideful egoism, it is hard to believe this. But, those who are simple and humble, Christ’s words came alive even without the body in the tomb. This day, we welcome our beloved brothers and sisters to Catholic Church at St. Anne: Sarai, Karen, Mayra, Filipe, and Giovani. We rejoice with them for their salvation from darkness while we renew our own baptismal promises. Jesus leaves us water in the desert, hope for the sorrowful, and life in the culture of death. You and I are Mary Magdalene, the Apostle of the Apostles, guiding others to belief in Christ. Let us rejoice and be glad for our mission of sharing the good news by how we live! Fr. Toshio, CM

Cristo ha resucitado, Aleluya! Después de largos 40 días o más de disciplinas de Cuaresma han terminado, finalmente llegamos el día de la alegría. Nuestro Salvador ha resucitado como dijo. De la oscuridad de la muerte, del poder del mal, de todas las cosas que destruyen los signos de la existencia del amor. Para aquellos que tienen un corazón pedregoso y un egoísmo orgulloso, es difícil creer esto. Pero, aque-llos que son sencillos y humildes, las palabras de Cristo cobraron vida incluso sin el cuerpo en la tumba. Este día, damos la bienvenida a nuestros amados hermanos y hermanas a la Iglesia Católica en Santa Ana: Sarai, Karen, Mayra, Filipe y Giovani. Easter Sunday Encounter the Risen Christ We prayed, fasted and gave alms—and now we celebrate Easter joy! Our Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl challenges us as we encounter our Risen Lord to bring the hope of Resurrection to a world in need. Don’t forget to turn in your CRS Rice Bowl at the CRS Rice Bowl container, located by Our Lady of Guadalupe statue beginning on 4/27 through 5/26.
