Blessed Mother you asked at Fatima for the daily recitation of the Rosary for peace in the world and in individual souls. I offer my Rosary as a spiritual "Bouquet of Roses" for the intentions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in atonement for the offenses committed against your Immaculate Heart, and in petition for the favors I ask in this Novena. With great confidence in your powerful intercession, I place these petitions in your hands, and beseech you to present them to Jesus. He will never refuse what you ask of Him.

Archbishop Harry J. Flynn A MASS OF REMEMBRANCE FOR ARCHBISHOP HAR-RY J. FLYNN WILL BE CELEBRATED AT 5:30 PM MON-DAY, OCTOBER 7, 2019, AT THE CATHEDRAL OF ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST. ALL ARE INVITED TO AT-TEND. Archbishop Flynn died Sunday evening, September 22, 2019, in Minnesota, where he served as Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Archbishop Flynn was also a much-loved shepherd of the people of the Diocese of Lafayette. He was consecrated as Coadjutor Bishop of our Diocese in 1986, and served as Bishop from 1989 to 1994, before going on to serve the Catholic faithful in Minnesota.
