Working together to improve and revitalise our children’s classrooms and playground Fete Update #6 15 August 2016 8 weeks and counting!!! With under a term to go before the Fete, preparations are really starting to ramp up. The support from our parent community to date has been amazing, and we know its only going to get better! Thank you to everyone who came to the Stallholders Meeting in Week 2. We have a fantastic line up of stalls, with the addition this year of: a Petting Zoo donated by Calmsley Hill City Farm - http://calmsleyhill.com.au a Photobooth donated by Thornton Storgato Law - http://www.tslaw.com.au a Popcorn stall donated by Travel Time - http://www.traveltime.com.au Showbag stand a Netball Goal game to compliment the Footy Pass and much more. A full list of 2016 Stalls and Stallholders is on page 2 . As you can see we’ve got a great group of stallholders locked in but we’d love someone to co- ordinate the Hoopla. If you’re interested, please contact Maria - [email protected] The Volunteer Roster will be circulated in the next fete newsletter and this will be your opportunity to help out in very practical way on a stall of your choosing, for as little as an hour on the big day. We will be having one more Fete Mufti Day on Friday 16 September, but families will not be asked to provide a ‘Donation Bag’ this year. We have had some tremendous prizes donated for both our Chocolate Wheel and our Silent Auction. But we’d love some more, so if you have any new items which you might be willing to donate, you can send items into the school office at any time marked ‘Fete Committee – Donations for Chocolate Wheel’. Raffle Tickets were sent home with your eldest child on Friday. Thank you for your support in selling these tickets to your family and friends. Please remember that any unsold tickets must be returned to the office. Email Louise at [email protected] if you’d like some more ticket books. St Agatha’s School Fete 16 October 2016 Real Homes. Bring your own picnic lunch, or use our free electric BBQs to cook your own lunch while you enjoy our beautiful grounds. Take-away food can be purchased at the Farmhouse Kiosk. We have special packages to cater for Children’s birthday parties and special events.

From September till April the farm offers camping at the farm on selected days, numbers are limited so booking early is recommended. See the website for more details: http://calmsleyhill.com.au

Parking is excellent and there is wheelchair access throughout the farm and facilities for people with special needs.

Are you a Superparent?

Calmsley Hill City Farm is an interactive farm, close to the heart of Sydney just off the M7 at Elizabeth Drive. Get up close to a range of native and farmyard animals, at the farm you can feed the nursery animals and even take a tractor ride though some of our 500 acres of Farmland.

If you’re interested in dressing up as a Superhero for an hour or so at the Fete, we’d love to hear from you. We have a couple of costumes at the ready, so we just need your body! Alternatively, if you happen to have an adult superhero costume you’d be happy to lend us for the day, we could always use more. Any borrowed costumes will come back washed.

Our parent heroes add a great atmosphere of fun to the fete. Email [email protected] chat to Kat Travers.
