(General Nursing and Midwifery - GNM)

This is a Three years and Six Months course, the purpose of General Nursing Programme is to prepare a general nurse, who will function as a member of the health team beginning with competencies, for first level position in both hospital and community.

The Programme is geared to the health needs of the country, community and individual which will serve as a basis for advanced study and specialization in nursing. It will assist nurses in their personal and professional developments, so that they may make their maximum contribution to the society, as individuals, citizens and nurses.

(Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery - ANM)

Illness and care of the ill. Nurses strive to achieve the best possible for quality of life for their patients, Regardless of disease or disability. The Training for Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife is offered as a 1.6 years duration course. The Course cover all the related topics of the study field.

The course is open to student who have successfully completed class 10+2 or its equivalent. Upon completion of the training the candidate can be register himself/herself as Registered ANM.

They are specially trained to look after the health needs of people living mainly in the rural areas, particularly mother and children. All sectors are in high need of their service.
