Parent & Child Together Each month you will receive PACT (attached to newsletters) which contains beneficial resources and fun activities designed especially for you and your child. Spending quality time together will enhance your child’s educational growth and development. *Research shows that parents who are most active in their children’s schools do not tend to raise smarter children. The real impact happens mostly at home. Parents who view themselves as educational coaches tend to read to their children every day when they are small; when their children get older, they talk with them about their days and about news around the world. They let their children make mistakes and then get right back to work. They teach them good habits and give them independence. They are teachers, too, in other words, they believe in consistency. They want their children to fail while they are still children. They know that those lessons – about hard work, persistence, integrity, and consequences – will serve a child for decades to come. Each month you will receive PACT (attached to

newsletters) which contains beneficial resources and

fun activities designed especially for you and your child.

Spending quality time together will enhance your

child’s educational growth and development.

*Research shows that parents who are most active in

their children’s schools do not tend to raise smarter

P.A.C.T. Padres & Hijos Juntos

Cada mes recibirá PACT (juntamente con el boletín

de noticias) que contiene recursos beneficiosos y

actividades divertidas diseñadas especialmente para

usted y su hijo. Pasar tiempo de calidad juntos

mejorará el crecimiento educativo y el desarrollo de

su hijo. *La investigación muestra que los padres que

son más activos en las escuelas de sus hijos no tienden

a criar a hijos más inteligentes. El impacto real ocurre

sobre todo en casa. Padres que se ven a sí mismos

como entrenadores educativos tienden a leer a sus

hijos todos los días cuando son pequeños; cuando sus

hijos van creciendo, hablan con ellos acerca de sus

días y de noticias alrededor del mundo. Dejan que

sus hijos cometan errores y luego les aconseja para

que funcionen correctamente. Les enseñan buenos

hábitos y les dan independencia. Ellos son maestros,

también, en otras palabras, ellos creen en consistencia.

Quienes permiten que sus hijos fracasen mientras que

ellos siguen siendo niños. Saben que esas lecciones –

sobre el trabajo duro, persistencia, integridad y

consecuencias – servirá a un niño por décadas
