“Wearing Blue” “Go Kart Fun!” On Memorial Day while many Americans pause to reflect, it is typically a long weekend filled with backyard celebrations and good times. For members of Wear Blue: Run to Remember, it is a day to remember each life sacri- ficed in a positive, life-affirming way. Reed-Lallier Chevrolet’s own BDC Manager, Terry Moore (Ser- geant First Class), IT Specialist, Chris Mills (Staff Sergeant), and Terry’s son, Shane Moore (Private First Class), pledged 8 miles each for a total of 24 miles. “We ran to work for a good cause,” said Terry Moore, “it fills me with pride and emotion for those who were lost.” Wear Blue: Run to Remem- ber had a total of 13,780 miles pledged nationwide. The goal was 6,460 miles--a mile for every life lost in the Global War on Terror. It was a fun, mud filled day on Sunday, May 20, when the Fun Committee of Reed-Lallier Chevrolet planned for a day of Go Karts. “We just had a blast,” said Deb- bie Orndorff, “I was covered in mud, but that’s okay because it was just a great day of fun. I hope we can do this again.” Looks like Debbie is going to get her wish. The Fun Committee is planning for another day of Go Karts in July .....so stay tuned.
