Why did you join Tupperware?

Working as a hairdresser with two young children, I joined Tupperware to supplement my husband’s salary and to help build my own confidence. A friend of mine was a Tupperware Manager and she invited me to a Sales Meeting, once I saw how much fun everyone was having I couldn’t say no! I signed up straight away and was a Manager within seven months.

What have been your career highlights?

The benefits for me are not just monetary, although that has helped. I enjoy promoting team members, watching their confidence develop and flourish.

What you have achieved with Tupperware?

Tupperware was a way for me to meet people and I have done just that and more. I’ve developed friendships, watched people grow and I have gained what I want out of my life. I have been on overseas trips with Tupperware and taken my family on holidays thanks to Tupperware. I’ve been to places I could only have dreamed of!

Leisa Willson Why did you join Tupperware?

I had a $20,000 debt to my mum who had helped my husband and I buy a house, so any extra cash was always going to be welcomed. But when the Tupperware opportunity was presented to me, I initially had a misconception of what it was all about. I thought that it couldn’t fit into my lifestyle because I was working full time and that I was too young. I said to the Demonstrator, who would go on to be my Manager, ‘I’ll wait until I’ve got kids’. And I’ll never forget what she said to me: ‘Why wait? You could be earning the money now.’

What have been your career highlights?

Being promoted to an Executive Manager and seeing other people achieve their goal. Last year my team was recognised as the number six team throughout Australia / New Zealand.

What are your key achievements?

I started by demonstrating two Tupperware parties a week, earning an extra $300-$400. Within two months I became a Manager and three months after that I paid my mum back. That’s when I realised that I could earn similar money to my full time job working less hours. I resigned from my full time job and now I’m earning 20% more than I was previously and I’m my own boss. Aside from this, I’ve also had the opportunity to go on four overseas trips with Tupperware in the last year – New Zealand, Florida, Kuala Lumpur and Beijing.
