Bobby and Bonnie Watson werehonored Saturday afternoon with a

lovely 50th wedding anniversary celebra-tion in the fellowship hall of First BaptistChurch. They were married on Jan. 23,1960.

Hosting the reception were their chil-dren: Sharon and Chad Slater of West-field, Amy and Rodney Simpson ofArarat, Greg Watson of Dobson and Deb-bie Watson of Mount Airy.

Also assisting were the grandchildren,Emma and Molly Slater, Kyle and Tyler

Simpson, Kayla Watson and Tana Left-wich and husband, Jake.

Tables were covered with gold-coloredcloths with the 50th theme carried out inthe decorations. A display table held pho-tos and memorabilia of the honored cou-ple and their families.
