FITNESS TESTINGBod Pod: Body composition is one of the best indicators of overall health, and the Bod Pod is one of the best ways of accurately assessing it.The Bod Pod reflects both physical activity and dietary practices by measuring fat percentages and lean body mass. Knowing your body weight, or BMI alone can be very misleading as even an accurate scale cannot tell the difference between a pound of fat and a pound of muscle. Our professional fitness staff can accurately measure your body composition using our state of the art Bod Pod to help you learn what your weight is made of.The Bod Pod technology is based on the same whole-body measurement principle as hydrostatic weighing (the “dunk tank”). Because of its high level of accuracy, ease-of-use, and fast test time, the Bod Pod has quickly become the method of choice for measuring body composition.

Resting Metabolic Rate: You are a unique individual and you have a very unique metabolism. RMR testing will assess your metabolism and find the rate at which you burn calories.By knowing the number, you will know exactly how many calories you need to eat every day to gain weight, lose weight, or maintain your weight. You’ll leave with a weekly plan of how many calories to eat, and how many calories to burn through exercise. This test takes about 45 minutes to complete, and requires a follow-up consultation 3-5 business days after testing to receive your results. Testing fee includes testing mask.

VO2 Submax Testing: An exercise test performed on a treadmill or a bike. This measurement is generally considered the best indicator of an athlete’s cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance. The results will indicate your capacity to perform sustained exercise. Client will also receive a print out with calories burned per hour at any given heart rate. This information will help in designing a comprehensive cardiovascular fitness program.

You’ll leave knowing: • how hard you need to exercise • how many times per week you need to exercise • how long you need to exercise • how many ACTUAL calories you burn during exercise
