Dear Students:

Literature is a wonderful creation which offers a podium to express our flight from reality t

imagination through - the creative self lying within. The act of putting pen to paper encourages

pause for thought, which in turn makes us think more deeply about life and helps us to re-boost ou

energies, filled with various shades. RGIPT, in its first creative event- "SRIJAN", invites an

encourages you to participate and express your talent.The events are as follows:

1. POETRY COMPETITION- "KAVYA KUSUM" - The entries are welcome either in Hindi o

English. The last date for submission of entries is 22nd March 2011. Recital will be organized on 25

March.

2. ESSAY COMPETITION -"SHABDA JAAL" There are three topics for the essa

competition :(i) Optimisation of economic growth vs Climate change (AjM uMx Lu esur mUuil MCwiqMUh)(ii) Relevance of Gandhian values in present global crisis (uM xMO q akuS qsr MmxaMi)(iii) Rajiv Gandhi : A vision towards development (Ueu ak : LM xc uMx M AU)One can submit entry on any of these, with word limits of 4000 words. The entries may be either i

Hindi or English. The last date for submission of entries is 22nd March 2011.

3. DEBATE COMPETITION -"SHABDA DWAND" -- Interested students may give the

names to Dr. Saurabh Mishra/Dr. Amritanshu Shukla. The time given to each candidate will be

minutes. The themes for possible debate topic are economic growth/Judicial activism. Exact top

would be announced on the spot.

4. QUIZ COMPETITION - "PRASHNA MANCH" - Interested students may form a team of

participants each and register the names with Dr. Saurabh Mishra/Dr. Amritanshu Shukla.

For events 1 and 2, neatly, handwritten & one sided entries on A4 sheets will be considered. Selecte

entries will also be put on display. Event 3 and 4 will be organized on 25th March in hostel area.

The event registration forms for the above said events are available in the hostel office. Intereste

students are required to duly fill in the forms and submit them to the hostel office.
