Procedure Obstructed Supra Cardiac TAPVC Operated on 28.05.2014

Case Description 2 months male infant (3 .9 kgs) presented with breathing difficulty and respiratory retractions since 3 weeks, saturating 85 – 89 %. His complete cardiac evaluation revealed Obstructed Cardiac TAPVC at PFO level. He underwent complete repair (Re-rooting of all pulmonary veins to LA by unroofing of CS).

Procedure ALCAPA Repair Operated on 16.05.2014

Case Description 3 month male chi ld (4 Kgs) presented with respiratory distress and dusky lips, saturating 89–92%. He underwent successful ALCAPA Repair by Coronary Button Transfer from PA to Aorta.

The Divine Child Health Program covers the Healthcare needs of the children through timely detection of Disease, Disability, Defects and Deficiency, through systematic Health screening of every school going child in Chhattisgarh State, INDIA. The aim of th i s program of ear ly i n t e r v e n t i o n a n d t i m e l y m e d i c a l management is to provide Health relief to the child and its family, eventually leading to a Healthy Nation. Schools are closed in the May month. Hence, with over 2000 children screened in past 8 months, analytical studies are now being conducted both qualitatively and quantitatively to support department wise referral mechanism.

May Highlights: ❖ Structuring the available data – condition wise to analyze indicative prevalence in the study area covered – Arang block, Raipur District ❖ Preparation of an Overall Project report, detailing the need, approach, methodology, key findings and way forward.
