    ITINERARY

    DAY 1 MONTH NEGAMBO B

    Arrive in Colombo Airport, be greeted by a Calypso Lanka Holidays representative. Transfer to the Paradise Beach Hotel Negombo Accommodation: Paradise Beach Hotel Negombo

    DAY 2 & 3 MONTH SIGIRIYA B

    After breakfast proceed to the Kassapa Lions Rock and spend the next 2 nights in the vivid Jungles of Sri Lanka. During your time you can opt to visit these locations Along the way, visit the Negombo fishing port. Negombo is a former Portuguese and Dutch colony and is one of the main fishing habours of the Island. A morning visit to the lagoon will thrill you to the limit, when ancient catamarans and modern motor boats return to the shore after competing for their nights catch. The ensuring chaos of sorting, buying and selling with torrent of bargaining will surely leave you spellbound by the coarse exchanges itself, not to mention its heart-stopping seaside character.     The World Heritage giant rock fortress of Sigiriya, built in the 5th century as a bastion and a palace of king Kasyapa. The most impressive facets of the unique complex are the geometrically laid water gardens, the frescoes of beautiful maidens, and the mirror wall with ancient graffiti. The lion platform and the summit of 1.6 hectares, was surrounded by buildings during the period of Sigiriyas glory. Accommodation: Kassapa Lions Rock

    DAY 4 - MONTH KANDY B, L

    Leave for Kandy at leisure on a 3 hour drive. En route we cover the Dambulla cave temple and a spice garden. DAMBULLA(World heritage site) Dambulla cave temple is situated close by; yet another world heritage site where in five pre historic caves youll find not only fantastic colorful drawings, mostly of Buddha and events of his life, painted on the rock-wall but some outstanding sculpture work dating back to the 1st century as well. The paintings are perhaps second only to the ones at Ajantha and Ellora in Aurangabad in India. Eminent painters who visit the caves as an essential part of their itinerary are often mesmerized by the creation of such rich colors, so soothing to the eye, so early in civilization, and wonder at the mystery of treasured paintings to survive all these centuries! A qualified guide will do a conducted tour of the garden and a presentation of its products. Check in to Senani Hotel KANDY(World heritage site) During your stay you could explore the ever so quaint Kandy; the last Kingdom, visiting the temple of the sacred tooth relic; the most important place of worship for Buddhists world-over at which place youll get to participate in a colorful ceremony to the tune of the Eastern tom toms. Youll also visit the upper lake area to catch a birds view of this fascinating lake city and the great temple cluster that is declared as a world heritage site now. A visit to the botanical gardens will thrill you for it is the only one of its kind in this part of the world. Being the pleasure gardens of the Queen once and found hugging a shaded river, you could stroll in the shade of great trees for hours passing manicured lawns and lovely flowering shrubs in an absolute tranquil setting. A visit to the famous orchid house is a must for orchid lovers. Evening, one could walk around the Kandy Lake and along its paved paths with the great Temple in the back-drop enjoying the cool breeze flowing freely from the distant hills.     DAY 5 - THURSDAY MONTH NUWARA ELIYA B

    After Breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, The drive is one of the most scenic in the island and the road winds as you descend from an elevation of 6,500 feet above sea level to 1800. During the 3 hour drive you will be passing some great tea plantations, mist shrouded mountain peaks, gushing waterfalls cascading into limpid rock pools, lush rain forests in which runs pellucid brooks and a vast man made reservoir found in a deep valley that producers hydroelectricity for the Islanders.

    En route you can stop at the Labookelle Tea Factory where you will get to learn about the process of drying tea leaves. A walk among the fine tea bushes systematically laid on mountain slopes with its fine aroma will thrill you to the limit. Accommodation: Galway Forest Lodge

    DAY 6-7 MONTH BENTOTA B

    After Breakfast proceed to the beautiful coastline of the West Coast where you can relax for the next 2 nights on beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka. Enjoy the hospital facilities and watersports activities available.

    Take a half day trip to Galle and visit the old historical Dutch Fort Explore the fort, overflowing with landmarks, strolling past the Dutch church, the governors house, the spice warehouses, court square, the Kacheri or Town Hall, the lighthouse and ramparts. Near the old Arab mosque are streets leading to cricket fields and the district Judges house, surrounded by ancient frangipani trees. Accommodation: Centara Ceysands

    property or otherwise (including baggage) whether due to its servants agents or employees negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with any

    accommodation transportation or other services or resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, hijack, fire, breakdown in

    visas or other documents and that neither the Organisation nor its servants agents or employees shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional

    expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the tour members as a result of any of the foregoing causes. All prices quoted are subject to change without notice

    having regards to unforeseen circumstances, foreign exchange fluctuations and variations in airline operating costs including but not limited to say an escalation

    of fuel prices. Unused services cannot be refunded or exchanged.

    ENSURE ALL TOUR PARTICIPANTS ARE MADE AWARE Tour Prices: Tour prices are based on costs in effect at 17th April 2016. Costs will also depend on availability of all services/inclusions

    quoted on at time of booking. These costs are subject to the group travelling together throughout the tour. Any variation will incur an

    amendment fee and may also jeopardize the costs for the rest of the group. Prices are based on the tour numbers stipulated on the

    itinerary. Any change in tour numbers will result in a revised tour price. NB. Cancelled rooms may result in 100% cancellation fees from

    hotels.

    Payments Schedule:

    Final Tour Payment Full Payment prior to 15th May 2016

    Cancellation Policy: (Notice of cancellation must be made in writing)

    o Cancellation of tour 60 days prior to departure any payments made prior to this date will be reimbursed (Less any bank charges).

    o Cancellation of tour 31 to 59 days prior to departure: 65% of the total amount Per person will be refunded. o Cancellation of tour 30 15 days prior to departure: 25% of the total amount per person will be refunded. o Cancellation of tour 14 days prior to departure and after commencement of travel : Nil Refund.

    Please note there may be specialized inclusions in your tour such as Train Tickets, Theatre Show tickets, instant purchase airline tickets

    etc that are non-refundable in addition to the above Cancellation Charges. These cancellation fees are in addition to any cancellation

    fees that may be levied by our tour suppliers.

    Amendment Fee: Any person wishing to amend from the group tour arrangements will be charged a standard $100.00 amendment fee

    per person plus any additional charges involved with the amendment (additional transfers, accommodation etc).

    Documentation: Australian citizens require a passport with minimum 6 months validity from date of departure from final destination.

    Other passport holders may require additional documentation. Please check your applicable requirements with our Travel Consultant. A

    copy of each persons passport is required.

    Cancellation by Provider: If Provider cancels this Agreement or is unable to provide the requested accommodations, Provider will assist Group in finding like accommodations and space at comparable prices, Provider will immediately repay any monies paid by Group or its Attendees to Provider, and shall provide, without charge, necessary transportation between the alternative site and the original site. If Provider, or any company Provider is acting as an agent for cancels this Agreement, or any part of the Agreement, within thirty (30) days of Arrival, Provider will also be responsible to pay Group all incremental expenses incurred by Group for any alternative accommodations that exceed the price(s) negotiated with Provider. Providers liability is limited to these remedies and Provider shall not be liable for any consequential, punitive or special damages.

    Travel Advisories : We strongly suggest that you consult the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT) website and register (either group or

    individual) so that you are kept up to date with any travel warnings or advisories that may be in place for your destinations

    (www.dfat.gov.au). You should also advise DFAT of your travel details such as date of departure and itinerary.

    Travel and Immunisations: It is essential that all tour participants discuss their personal travel plans with a health professional to ensure you have the correct vaccinations for your trip and any booster doses of childhood vaccinations you may need. Upon re-entry into Australia, Customs & Immigration will request a copy of your vaccination certificate if you have visited areas that
