SRI BHARATI TIRTHA VIDYARTHI VILSAHA BHAVANAPRAVESAM REPORT

10th February, 2014

The construction of Sri Bharati Tirtha Vidyarthi Vilasaha started on 05 th March 2012. Theproject was blessed by Sri Sri Sannidhanam of Sringeri during his Vijaya Yatra visit to Ashram on 01st June 2012.

With the divine blessings of Adiguru and with the grace of Sringeri Jagadguru, the projectwas completed as per schedule and the Bhavanapravesam was done on 10 th Feb 2014.

Under the guidance of Sri Swamiji, monitored by a dedicated team and with the kind supportof well-wishers, the project has come out well.

The Vasthu Puja and Homam were conducted on 09th Feb 2014, from 06:30 to 08:30 pm.With Sri Swamiji presiding over, fifteen Vaidhikas led by Sri Ganesa Ganapadhigal ofPudukkottai conducted the proceedings.

On 10th Feb, Pujas started at 4:00am as usual at Vidyapitham. Special abhishekam,alankaram and puja were done for Adiguru Sri Prajna Dakshinamurti, followed by the regular Ashram prayers.

The Bhavanapravesam rituals, started by 06:30 am at Vidyapitham.- 3

After sankalpam at Vidyapitham, Puja Vigrahams, Sri Datta Paduka, kumbams, etc weretaken around the Ashram in a procession to the new building.

With Gomatha in front, Sri Swamiji led the devotees to Sri Bharati Tirtha Vidyarthi Vilasaha.Gopuja was performed at the entrance.

A Gopuram with vigrahams for Sri Saradambal, Sri Adisankara and Sri Sanidhanam hadbeen constructed, with five kalasams, on top of Sri Bharati Tirtha Vidyarthi Vilasaha.

Kalasabishekam and puja was done for these five kalasams by Theni Vidyapitham priestand priests from Pudukkottai, on 10th Feb 2014, just before the Bhavanapravesa puja andhomams started.

The important part of Bhavanapravesam – Ksheera prashanam (boiling and having theboiled milk) was performed and simultaneously Sri Jagadguru Vandanam was also done.The boiled milk was offered as Nivedhanam.

These events were over by 08:30am & were attended by more than two hundred devotees.

From 09:00 am, Sri Maha Ganapathi Homam, Sri Navagraha Homam and Sri KuberaMahalakshmi Homams were performed.

The Puja and Homams were performed at the base of Vata Vriksham (banyan tree), thesapling planted by Sri Sri Sannidhanam, almost twenty years back. Sri Bharati Tirtha

Vidyarthi Vilasaha has come-up encompassing this tree.

Vedic pundits did Achitraashvameda Parayana and Upanishad Parayanam.

Ashram Brahmacharis, the construction Engineer & his team were honoured by Swamiji.

After Sri Guru Vandanam, Maha Purnahuthi was performed at around 12:30 pm..

Vedic pundits were honoured and function ended with Swamiji distributing prasadam to all.

Recalling the Anugraham of Sri Sringeri Sannidhanam, Sri Swamiji blessed all those whohad taken efforts and supported this project.

A grand feast was organized for the event.

With Swamji’s guidance, the Trustees of Vedanta Sasthra Prachara Trust and SriDakshimaurti Seva Samiti, Sri Guru Sevaks, devotees and the construction staff ensuredthat the event was a memorable one.

The public inaugural function of Sri Bharati Tirtha Vidyarthi Vilasaha will be held on 17th Feb,2014 between 09:30 am and 12:30 noon.
