    NOTES ON SRDC PROCEDURES

Since 2006, the group now called the Sixth Region Diasporan Cau-cus (SRDC) has been educating various African communities andadvocating a particular methodology to help get the Diaspora organ-ized in order for us to accept the AUs invitation to join as votingmembers.

That methodology requires a lot of volunteer work and dedication.

Whenever a person or persons in a state or city chooses to hear theSRDC call to organize a series of Town Halls in their area, and fol-lows through with that process, that person or persons become aFacilitator in that city or state. As long as that person or personsremain willing to continue doing organizing and coordinating work, all others who later decide to be involved in the process need towork with and through the initial Facilitators in the area to preventre-inventing the wheel and going backwards.

The SRDC is committed to always moving forward. Most of theminutes, notes and up-to-date information will be with the initialFacilitators in the area, and all others willing to join in and help areespecially welcomed. Mutual respect for all concerned is exceed-ingly important however, and for the SRDC process, it is crucial.

May we all wrap ourselves in the great honor of serving our ances-tors and our current constituents.
