Sound Masking for Workplaces with Raised Access FloorsIs Under-Floor Sound Masking the Right Choice for My Workplace? Raised access floors have emerged as a smart solution for workplaces looking to house power, data, telecom, HVAC, and other building services below floor level for easy access and modification. Floor cavities are also an excellent spot to house sound masking speakers. In fact, under-floor sound masking can often be less expensive and more effective than traditional above-ceiling or above-ceiling sound masking solutions.
