This manual has been written to help you with the assembly, operating procedures and accessories. Assembling Your Background Stand

Assembling Your Light Stands

1. Loosen the legs of each upgright stand using the knob near the top of the legs. Expand the legs fully, then tighten the knob to secure.

2. Open the locks at each section of the stand and adjust to your desired height. Close locks to secure.

3. Attach the cross poles to each other by inserting the tapered end of one into the receptacle of the next (A). Once inserted, twist to lock. Note: You can alter the width of the background stand by using 2 or 3 of the cross poles instead of 4.

4. Thread a cross pole with a hole on the end over the top of an upright stand leg (B). Replace wingnut and tighten (C). Repeat for the other cross pole end and upright stand leg.

5. Your backdrop stand is now fully assembled (D).

1. Take off the lightstand cap (A) and loosen the legs of the stand using the wingnut near the top of the legs (B). Expand the legs fully, then tighten the wingnut to secure.

2. Loosen the screws at each section of the stand and adjust to your desired height (F). Tighten screws to secure. Repeat with the remaining lightstands, adjusting heights as needed. Your stands are now fully assembled.

3. Next, attach bulbs to the light sockets by screwing them in carefully. Hold the bulb by the base when installing to prevent accidental breakage.

4. Attach the light socket onto the lightstand by first loosening the nut at the base of the socket (G). Slide the socket onto the top of the lightstand and tighten down. Your socket should now be firmly connected to the lightstand. Repeat with remaining stands.

5. Next, open the umbrella and attach to the holder built into the light socket. Pass the base of the umbrella’s pole through the holder and tighten. Your lighting kit is now assembled.

One Year Limited Warranty

Square Perfect products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Within this period, Square Perfect will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any compo-nents that fail during normal use. This warranty does not apply to damage caused by abnormal or unreasonable use, including any repair or attempted repair by anyone other than a certified Square Perfect authorized service technician, use of replacement parts that are not OEM parts, in addition to incidental or consequential damages. Using this product for anything other than its original intended purpose or altering this product in any way will void this warranty. There is a 30 day limited warranty on all consumable parts including fuses, flash bulbs and/or light bulbs as applicable.

If your Square Perfect product has a manufacturers defect covered by our warranty, we will either repair or re-place it, at our option, without charge or refund. Such repairs, or items deemed to be eligible for replacement, will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor, provided that the customer shall be responsible for all shipping costs. This warranty does not apply to: A. cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks and dents; B. consumable parts, such as fuses and light bulbs, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in mate-rials or workmanship; C. damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes; D. damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorized service provider of Square Perfect; or E. damage to a product that has been modified or altered without the written permission of Square Perfect. In addition, The original purchaser who has provided proper proof of the original retail purchase and all other requested information is the holder of this warranty.

Please note that repair costs and handling charges may apply if any issue was found to be the fault of the end user. Please be prepared to provide the units serial number, if applicable, your return shipping address and a daytime phone number and proof of purchase.

Square Perfect retains the exclusive right to repair or replace, with a new or newly-refurbished replacement ma-chine or part, the product or offer a full refund of the purchase price at its sole discretion. SUCH REMEDY SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:Become thoroughly familiar with this product before use. Run through at least one practice assembly and breakdown before you schedule a shoot. Never leave the lighting unsupervised when in use. Keep children or incompetent person away from lighting equipment. If the power cords show signs of wear or damage, they should be replaced or repaired by a qualified electrician before use. Wait until bulbs are completely cool before touching or removing them. Never use in a wet environment.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cords do not come in contact with bulbs. Do not wind the cord around the appliance. Place stands/tripods on flat surface to prevent toppling. Do not touch the metal parts near the bulbs while in use, these parts may become very hot. Do not let umbrella touch light bulb when in use. Light bulb will get hot and can ruin the umbrella or start a fire.
