Please do not bring books into the library unless that is where you took
them from. We have plenty of books and I’m sorry but we do not have
room for anymore. If you leave any, we will have to throw them out.
Thanks, Chris Durham, Librarian.
Is there a special person/neighbor in our community that you would
like to Thank or Congratulate? Just drop a note in the RED BOX in the
clubhouse and I will put it in next month’s newsletter.

MEDICAL MOBILITY EQUIPMENT - MONTHLY REPORT
Residents are reminded that we have an extensive range of useful equip-
ment which is available for use by any resident who needs it.
The equipment is in excellent condition and is loaned out at no charge for
as long as required.
Our equipment is supported by voluntary contributions, such as: Kathy
Hoeppner who gave us a nearly new rolator, a nearly new commode com-
plete, toilet helper and a car door handle assist. Thank You Kathy, your
generosity is much appreciated and the rolator has a new happy home.
After you, as a resident, have finished with the equipment please call me
and I will collect it. We are currently in need of shower seats, so if you
have one you are no longer needing, I can put it to good use.
Thank You. Please be careful when using a ladder (large or small)(indoors
or out).

We would love to have you come out and join us for all the fun. Call Judy

Read your summer away! Book Club will meet June 27th
at 10 a.m. and discuss the first 4 books of “The Poisonwood
Bible”. On July 25th we will finish the whole book.
The story is set in 1959 Belgian Congo where Nathan
Price has set up a mission. They take everything they think
they need from their home in Georgia, but soon find it is of no
use in Africa. What follows is a suspenseful epic of the family’s
tragic undoing and remarkable reconstruction over the course
of 30 years in postcolonial Africa.
De Warner is the new chairperson. She can be reached at:

Tom was at the hospital visiting with his best friend Larry who was dying. Tom asked, "If there is baseball in heaven will you come back and tell me?" Larry nodded yes just as he passed away. That night while Tom was sleeping, he heard Larry's voice in a dream, "Tom..." "Larry! What is it?!" asked Tom. "I have good news and bad news from heaven." "What's the good news?" "There is baseball in heaven after all, but the bad news is you're pitching on Tuesday."
Happy Father’s Day !
