YR 5 LEARNING

What we have done well...�In Maths we have focused on our Reasoning skills. We

have done a lot of work on fractions and we are getting

really good at it!

� As part of our British Values theme we visited the Tower

of London. We participated in a tour of the Tower and a

‘Tales from the Tower’ workshop where we learnt about the ‘Tales from the Tower’ workshop where we learnt about the

Tower’s role as a prison.

� In Science, for our ‘Star Gazers’ topic, we made our own

spaceships out of recycled materials. We really enjoyed it!

What we could do better...�Ensure that we read aloud to an adult every night, this

means twenty minutes of reading a day.

� Work on our presentation and handwriting.

�Complete every piece of homework on time
